The 75th edition of the NBA Draft is back as NBA teams will select from a pool of amateur prospects to find the next great player for their team.
The NBA Draft has been the source of the majority of the NBA’s historical stars. The first overall pick is usually a generational talent, like LeBron James, Tim Duncan, or Allen Iverson. However, gems can be found in later rounds as well, such as reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Nikola Jokic who was selected with the 41st overall pick.
The NBA Draft gives teams the opportunity to turn their franchise around. Fantastic young prospects like Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, and Evan Mobley highlight the class – all touted as some of the NBA’s next big stars!

Bet on the NBA Draft Here!
The first overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft belongs to the Detroit Pistons. While Detroit has been starved for success since they won the NBA Championship in 2004, the organization has the opportunity to turn its fortunes around through the draft alone.
Having the first pick makes Detroit’s decision rather easy. While there are some fantastic talents in this year’s draft, one player stands out above the rest.
Cade Cunningham is a 6’8 swingman with the ability to handle the ball and find baskets for himself or his teammates at any time.
While the Pistons have a number of skilled swingmen, Cunningham would be an upgrade over any one of them.
There is a small chance that the Pistons may go the route of point guard and select G-League Ignite superstar Jalen Green, but it is difficult to select against the NCAA experience that Cunningham has.
Whether he is the next Grant Hill or the next Darko Milicic is still up for debate. But at this point in time, the best player available and the one who suits Detroit’s needs most is Cunningham.
