Magic vs. Pistons Over 214.5 Points in Game 4 (No, 55 Cents)
Even though these teams combined for 218 points in Game 3, this series has been lower scoring than anticipated. After all, neither team scored 100 points in Game 2. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see something similar in Game 4, especially with the Magic at home and in need of a win to even up the series.
Defensively, the Pistons have been solid all season, and that defense is a big reason why they’re ahead in the series. Meanwhile, Detroit’s offense has been unreliable outside of Cade Cunningham, who is taking a lot of shots, taking his teammates out of the game at times. If that happens again in Game 4, we’re looking at a low-scoring affair, similar to Game 2.

Thunder Beat Suns by Over 10.5 Points in Game 4(No, 49 Cents)
There’s no getting around the fact that Oklahoma City has been dominant in this series. But they could take their foot off the gas in Game 4, with the series all but secured with a 3-0 win. Jalen Williams is likely to sit out due to his hamstring injury, and the Thunder could rotate a little more liberally to get other players added rest.
That doesn’t mean that a win is in the cards for Phoenix. But the Suns aren’t going to go quietly, especially at home. Phoenix was 12-7 against the spread as a home underdog during the regular season, so this is a situation in which they’ve excelled. Admittedly, the Suns have lost all three games of this series by double digits, but after a 12-point loss in Game 3, Phoenix should be a little more competitive in Game 4 and stay within 10 points of OKC.

Nuggets Beat Timberwolves by Over 14.5 Points in Game 5 (Yes, 40 Cents)
The Timberwolves may be leading 3-1, but this series has been turned on its head by the injury to Anthony Edwards. He’s unlikely to play in the conference semifinals if Minnesota advances, so he’s surely ruled out for the rest of this series. Also, don’t overlook the injury to Donte DiVincenzo, who suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in Game 4.
All of that could translate to a lopsided win for the Nuggets in Game 5. Not only is Denver facing elimination, but the Nuggets are at home and facing a Minnesota team that’s wounded both physically and psychologically without Edwards. With the Nuggets desperate and the T’Wolves adjusting to life without Edwards, there is value in predicting a blowout in Denver’s favor.

Celtics Eastern Conference Champion (Yes, 52 Cents)
Have you seen enough of the Celtics to think they’re going to win the Eastern Conference? Well, we certainly have. Boston bounced back from a dreadful home loss in Game 2 against the 76ers with back-to-back convincing wins on the road. That says a lot about not just how well they’re playing right now, but also their ability to bounce back, which is huge during the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Pistons, Cavaliers, and Knicks have all given us reason to pause. New York can barely handle the Hawks, making it hard to believe the Knicks will knock off Boston in the next round. Likewise, it’s far from certain that the Pistons and Cavs will get out of the first round, much less challenge Boston in the conference finals. That makes now a good time to make a long-term bet on the Celtics winning the Eastern Conference because the value is only going to drop moving forward.
