The NBA is back in session on Thursday, and we’ve got the best player props to guide you through the action.
The Cleveland Cavaliers improved to 5-0 with a win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Bronny James’ first game back home on Wednesday, while Karl-Anthony Towns erupted for 44 points in his best game as a New York Knick.
Here are our favorite NBA player prop picks for Thursday.

Paul scored 16 and 14 points in 27.5 average minutes of action over his last two games. He’s taking 4.3 threes per game, which is just about the same as he took during his final year with the Phoenix Suns, and is shooting 47.1 percent from deep on the season.
The savvy veteran might not be a threat to score 30 in every game anymore, but he’s in a nice rhythm and is going against a Utah Jazz team that posted the fifth-worst defensive rating in the league. Utah also doesn’t have any great defensive guards on its roster.

The Bucks are struggling to find themselves after a 1-3 start to the season. Prince started the year with 16- and 11-point games but only scored three in each of his last two outings, both of which ended in losses.
Despite that, Prince is shooting 63.6 percent from three-point land for the year and is getting plenty of chances, playing 31.5 minutes per night. The Memphis Grizzlies also allowed their opponents to shoot the third-highest percentage from three (39.8) in the entire league and could be down both Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart, who were injured on Wednesday.

There’s something to be said for knowing your role in life. Thompson, one of the best long-range snipers the game of basketball has ever seen, knows that his role is not to set up his teammates. That’s why he found a way to go under this low of a line in three of his four games as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
The four-time champion is shooting the ball with confidence and made 42.5 percent of his triples to start the season. A consistent shot combined with the spacing created by Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving means that there will be fewer times where Thompson either has to pass the ball or is hesitant, which should help him record another under.

Mann only played 21.5 minutes per game, the lowest since his second season in 2020-21, and took 1.5 three-point attempts per game, his fewest since the same season. Even more surprisingly, he is yet to make a single three this season, most recently going 0-2 against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
The absences of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have allowed opponents to defend the Clippers’ players more straight up than they otherwise would have. Mann is not in a good rhythm and is facing a Blazers team that, despite being average this year, did a great job defending the three-point line last year.

It’s hard to imagine that a non-center can survive in the modern NBA without a three-point shot, but that’s what Sochan has been able to do. The 21-year-old cashed the over on this line in all four games thus far and averaged 18.5 points per game despite shooting 1-5 from three to start the season.
As we mentioned earlier, the Jazz are one of the worst defensive teams in basketball. They were blown off the court by the Sacramento Kings their last time out, and Sochan has been the most reliable source of scoring for the Spurs due to Victor Wembanyama’s erratic start to the year.
