Donovan Mitchell Over 30.5 Points (-118) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Christmas at Madison Square Garden has a superstar explosion written all over it. Mitchell, who is fourth in the league in scoring at 30.6 points per night, beat this line in four of his last five games and dropped 31 points in his only matchup with the Knicks on the first night of the year.
The Knicks are playing great basketball and allowed the sixth-fewest points per game over their last 15 outings, but Mitchell is simply too gifted of a scorer to be contained by the Knicks players. He’s also the type of superstar to become a volume shooter in important moments, such as this one.

Victor Wembanyama Under 9.5 Rebounds (-130) at FanDuel Sportsbook
It’s blatantly obvious that Wembanyama detests the Oklahoma City Thunder, who suffered two of their four losses this year to the San Antonio Spurs. But while Wemby deals with his personal battles, including a beef with Chet Holmgren, he went under this line in each of two meetings with OKC this year.
The 21-year-old had five rebounds in 23 minutes when these teams played a couple of nights ago, and he had nine in the NBA Cup semifinal. He hasn’t played more than 25 minutes since returning from his injury, and I don’t expect that to change, not to mention that the Thunder will likely attack this game with everything they have after dropping two straight to the Spurs.

Moses Moody Under 1.5 Threes (-112) at FanDuel Sportsbook
One of the advantages of the Dallas Mavericks’ huge lineup is that they do a terrific job of limiting their opponents’ three-pointers, holding them to 11.1 over their last 15 outings (second in the league). While that might not bother Stephen Curry, the greatest shooter ever, it’s sure to have an effect on other low-volume players.
Moody has had a few explosive nights this year, but he also went under in five of nine games in December. He also slumped to 34.9 percent shooting from long range in 22.6 average minutes during the month, which are reasons to expect him to go under on the festive stage.

LeBron James Over 6.5 Assists (-130) at FanDuel Sportsbook
If there’s anyone who understands the importance of playing on Christmas, it’s LeBron James. He has two decades of experience of taking the floor on December 25th, and he gets the opportunity to do it again with both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves by his side for the first time in weeks.
Although LeBron went under this line in three of his last four, he still averaged 7.0 assists per game for the season. He’s also spent more time off the ball and as a facilitator when Doncic and Reaves were together, and I expect that to hold true against the stout defense of the Houston Rockets.

Anthony Edwards Over 4.5 Assists (+122) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Edwards is a dead-eye, fearless shooter, and is relentless when he’s attacking his opponent. However, the Denver Nuggets are 22nd in made threes allowed per game over the last few weeks, and with Nikola Jokic’s lack of mobility on defense, I expect Edward to find easy passes to his teammates when facing a tilted defense put in place to limit him, not the rest of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
While Edwards scored 26 points and was 0-8 from three when these teams faced off in mid-November, he also had six assists. He went under this line consistently in December, but I expect the matchup to dictate how he attacks the defense and to lead to a strong day for him as a facilitator.
