Our first prop bet of the day takes us to Philadelphia for a matchup between the Wild and Flyers. We will look to the Wild’s Matz Zuccarello for this bet. Zuccarello is past his prime but is still a great player. His 63 points are the second-most on the Wild, and his 41 assists lead the team. Zuccarello has been on a shooting spree lately and will easily have three shots or more this game. Bet on the over.

Zuccarello is coming off a four-shot game against the New Jersey Devils. That was his third four-shot game in a row. Zuccarello has been seeing different opportunities in his last few games and shooting more as a result.

Zuccarello will be facing a Flyers team that allows 3.3 goals per game. Those 3.3 goals are coming on 31.6 shots. However, that is not all. The Flyers allowed the Florida Panthers to shoot 44 times in their previous game. Since Philadelphia allow a lot of shots, it is easy to see why Zuccarello will have three shots or more. Bet on the over.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Florida Panthers

Our second prop bet is a little different. It takes us to Florida for a matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Florida Panthers. The Maple Leafs are fighting to cement their spot, and the Panthers are fighting for a Wild Card spot, so this should be an exciting matchup.

This bet involves the Maple Leafs’ Morgan Reilly. Reilly is a solid defenseman and can generate a little bit of offense. He rarely scores goals, but he does get assists. The veteran will finish with at least one point today. Bet on the over.

Reilly comes into this game with four goals and 32 assists. He failed to secure a point in the Maple Leafs’ previous game ( a 7-2 loss to the New York Islanders) but had four points in his three games before that. He will be facing a Panthers team with a strong offense but a weaker defense. The Panthers know how to score goals, but they also know how to give up goals. Florida allows 3.38 goals per game and will probably give up three goals to the Maple Leafs today. If Florida gives up three goals, Reilly will have plenty of opportunities to get a point. Bet on the over.

New York Rangers vs Carolina Hurricanes

Brady Skjei O 2.5 Shots on Goal +115 (DraftKings)

Our third prop bet will also come from an exciting game. This matchup is between the New York Rangers and the Carolina Hurricanes. Both of these teams are having solid seasons and played each other in their previous game. The Hurricanes won that battle, but the Rangers can flip the script today.

We will look to Brady Skjei for this prop. Skjei has never been an excellent player, but he has been reliable. He is having a pretty even season by way of goals and assists. The defenseman is not a prolific shooter, but he is not afraid to take his chances. He will have three shots or more today. Bet on the over.

Skjei is averaging 2.26 shots per game this season. That is not too encouraging, but the 28-year-old has shot a little more in his last few games. Skjei is coming off a five-shot game in his previous outing and had four shots in his game before that. Simply put, he has momentum from his last couple of games. That momentum will head into this game and lead to Skjei shooting at least three times. Bet on the over.

St. Louis Blues vs Detroit Red Wings

Magnus Hellberg O 25.5 Saves -115 (DraftKings)

Our fourth prop bet is our only goalie prop of the day. This prop is an interesting one. It involves Magnus Hellberg, the backup goalie on the Detroit Red Wings. Hellberg does not receive much attention, so I decided to give him some. The 28-year-old started the season in Ottawa but was placed on waivers after appearing in one game. The Seattle Kraken claimed him from there, but he never played for them. After some time, the Kraken placed him on waivers, and the Red Wings picked him up. He has not been exceptional for the Red Wings, but he has been better than expected. He will have at least 25 saves today. Bet on the over.

This bet could go either way, but I an just barely leaning toward the over. Hellberg has played well in his last few starts, but he is only sometimes seeing a lot of shots. In his previous game, he only saw 22 shots, but in his start before that, he saw 38. I do not expect the Blues to shoot 22 or 38 times today. Instead, I expect them to shoot 29-31 times. If they do, Hellberg will end with 26-28 saves. Bet on the over.

Winnipeg Jets vs Anaheim Ducks

Ryan Strome U 0.5 Points -155 (BetMGM)

We are on to our final prop bet of the day. This bet will take us to Anaheim, CA, and involve the Winnipeg Jets and the Anaheim Ducks. Ryan Strome is having a quieter season for the Ducks. He is coming off a 54-point season last year but only has 35 points (13 goals, 22 assists) this year. He will not have a point today. Bet on the under.

There are a few reasons Strome will go without a point in this game. One reason is he does not score consistently enough. However, the larger reason is he is facing a Winnipeg Jets team with a strong defense. The Jets only allow 2.81 goals per game and only gave up one goal in their previous game. Since Winnipeg has a dominant defense, Strome will not have enough opportunities to get a point. Bet on the under.
