Our first prop bet of the day will take us to Dallas, Texas. This series will likely go seven games.
The Wild won Games One and Three, but the Stars won games Two and Four, so this series is pretty up in the air. We will look at Ryan Hartman for this prop. Hartman had a quieter regular season but has stepped it up in the Playoffs. The wingers had 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists) in 59 games but has been a key piece of the Wild roster in the Playoffs. Hartman is tied with Mats Zuccarello for the team lead in points (5) and is playing over 20 minutes a game. The 28-year-old will finish with a point today. Bet on the over.
Hartman had his best season last year (he finished with 65 points), but he has never been a standout. He is a reliable player but not being named to any All-Star teams. With that being said, he is in a groove in this series and has had at least a point in the three games he has played in. Since he has been scoring and assisting his teammates with frequency in the last few games, it seems reasonable to expect him to have a point in this game. Bet on the over.

We will stay in the American South for our second prop bet of the day. The Hurricanes have handled the first four games of this series well. Other than Game Three (a 5-1 Islanders loss), they have won all of their games and can clinch the series today. This prop will involve the Hurricanes’ Seth Jarvis. Jarvis, like Ryan Hartman, is not a particularly impressive player. However, he is quite a bit younger than Hartman and still has time to excel in this league. Jarvis shot a lot last game but does not shoot a lot in general. He will finish with less than three shots today. Bet on the under.
Jarvis averaged 2.28 shots per game this season. He is shooting with a little more frequency in the Playoffs, but not much. More importantly, his shooting has not been consistent in this series. He shot five times last game but only once in Games Two and Three. This lack of consistency leads me to recommend betting on the under. I do not expect Jarvis to have two five-shot games in a row and believe he will put up one or two shots today. Bet on the under.

We will travel north of the border for this prop bet. This series, like the Wild-Stars series, is a close one and tied at 2-2 through four games. The Kings won Games One and Three, but the Oilers won Games Two and Four. Both teams are battling, and other than Game Two, every game has gone to overtime. Evan Bouchard will be the subject of this prop. Bouchard is an interesting player. He is a young defenseman who averaged almost one point every two games in the regular season. However, he has stepped up in the Playoffs and become one of the Oilers’ X-factors. His seven points (two goals, five assists) are the second-most on the team. Bouchard has scored a little but has been more of a passer. He will have another assist in this game. Bet on the over.
Bouchard has had two assists in each of the last two games. He is setting up his teammates left and right. He also had three assists against the Kings in the regular season. If you combine his success against the Kings with his Playoff momentum, it is easy to see why he will have an assist. Bet on the over.

We will stay in Edmonton for this prop. However, this prop will involve the Kings’ Adrian Kempe. Kempe had his best regular season this year and finished with 67 points (41 goals, 26 assists), He has been on an upward trajectory over the last few seasons and may be an All-Star in the next couple of years. He also shot the puck quite a bit this season and has continued to do so in the Playoffs. He will finish with four or more shots today. Bet on the over.
Kempe had three shots in his previous game but shot between four and eight times in the first three games. The center shoots a lot normally, but this is a different level. Of course, he is playing more minutes because many of these games are going into overtime, but he is also less hesitant to shoot and is being presented with more opportunities than usual. He will have four shots in this game. Bet on the over.

We are on to our final prop bet of the day. This is one of the more interesting props of the day. It will involve the Islanders’ Bo Horvat. Horvat came to the Islanders before the Trade Deadline with a lot of promise. He has not lived up to expectations yet and been very underwhelming in an Islanders’ uniform. Horvat will not have a point in this game. Bet on the under.
Horvat only had 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 30 regular season games with the Islanders. Those numbers are not horrible, but they are not good enough. More importantly, Horvat has been underwhelming in this series. He has only had one goal in four games. The 28-year-old is going through a slump and has not been very effective in the Postseason. He will go without a point in this game. Bet on the under.
