The Vegas Golden Knights and the Edmonton Oilers are the only teams playing today, so all the prop bets will come from this game. The Golden Knights won Game One 6-4, and the Edmonton Oilers won Game Two 5-1. This matchup will probably be closer than Game Two, but the Oilers have the edge since they are playing at home. The Oilers’ Evander Kane will be the subject of this prop. Kane has been pretty quiet in the Playoffs but has had some key moments. Kane will finish with three or fewer shots. Bet on the under.

Kane is averaging 3.25 shots per game in the Playoffs. He shot five times in his previous game but only had one shot in the game before that. In eight Playoff games, Kane has shot four or more times on three occasions. You may think it is worth going for the over, but the odds of Kane putting up another high-shooting performance tonight are low. Therefore, I would recommend playing it safe and betting on the under.

Our second prop bet of the day will involve the Oilers’ Leon Draisaitl. Draisaitl had a great regular season but played second fiddle to Connor McDavid. However, the Playoffs have been a different story. Draisaitl has taken over as the Oilers’ top scorer, and McDavid is playing second fiddle. The center has been the best player in the Playoffs so far and will have two or more points today. Bet on the over.

Draisaitl has 17 points (13 goals, four assists) in the Playoffs. He scored two goals in Game Two of this series and had four goals in the game before. The 27-year-old is on an incredible run and scoring over 38% of his shots. Even though he has mostly been scoring, he can still have an assist or two in this game. The simple fact is Draisaitl has plenty of ways to get points and will do so in this matchup. Bet on the over.

This prop bet is a little bit riskier than the first two. We will look at the Golden Knights’ Jack Eichel for this prop. Eichel missed a handful of games this season but averaged nearly a point a game. His production has been about the same since he was traded from the Buffalo Sabes in 2021. Eichel has had a productive Playoffs and has not been afraid to shoot. He will finish this game with four or more shots. Bet on the over.

Eichel is averaging 3.86 shots per game in the Playoffs. His shooting performances were inconsistent in the First Round but have been much better in the Second Round. The 2015 First Round pick has had five shots in each game of this series and scored one goal. Eichel is averaging about 19 minutes a game on the ice, so he will have plenty of opportunities to put shots on net and will have at least four. Bet on the over.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Edmonton Oilers

Evan Bouchard O 0.5 Assists -135 (BetMGM)

Our fourth prop bet of the day will involve the Oilers’ Evan Bouchard. Bouchard did not stand out in the regular season but has been a key piece on this Oilers team in the Playoffs. He has only scored three goals but has 11 assists to go with it. Bouchard will have at least one assist today. Bet on the over.

Bouchard has had at least one assist in all but one of the Oilers’ games this Postseason. He did not have an assist in Game One of their First Round series but has put at least one on the board in the seven games since. Obviously, Bouchard is a smart passer, but he also plays for an Edmonton team averaging 4.25 goals per game. If you combine his intelligent passing with the Oilers’ penchant for scoring, it is easy to see why he will have an assist. Play it safe, and bet on the over.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Edmonton Oilers

William Karlsson O 0.5 Points +100 (BetMGM)

We are on to our last two prop bets of the day. The Golden Knights’ William Karlsson will be the subject of this prop. Karlsson has never been a star in this league, but he has excelled in his role since arriving in Las Vegas in 2017. He will finish this game with one point or more. Bet on the over.

Karlsson has stepped up in the Playoffs. He had 53 points (14 goals, 39 assists) in the regular season but has six points (four goals, two assists) in seven Playoff games. The center is playing less than 18 minutes a game but is providing some key offense for Vegas. Karlsson went without a point in his last game, but the Golden Knights only scored one goal. I expect Vegas to put up three or goals this game, so the 30-year-old will have more opportunities to get a point. Bet on the over.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Edmonton Oilers

Mark Stone O 0.5 Assists +110 (BetMGM)

Our final prop bet of the day will be a little riskier. It will involve the Golden Knights’ Mark Stone. Stone missed almost half of the regular season games on the injured list but has been in top form in the Playoffs. He will have an assist in this game. Bet on the over.

Stone has had an assist in all but one of the Golden Knights’ Playoff games. He has also scored four goals but more of his value has come from passing. Since the winger is passing at such a high level and on a six-game assist streak, I would heavily recommend betting on the over.
