Our first prop bet of the day will take us to Newark, New Jersey. This series has been an exciting one so far but a little lopsided. The Hurricanes handily won Games One and Two, but the Devils came back in Game Three and destroyed the Hurricanes. The series is a lot more open now, and the Devils have much more of a chance to win it. We will look at the Devils’ Dawson Mercer for this prop. Mercer had three assists in Game Three but has been otherwise quiet in the Playoffs. The center has only scored two goals in the Playoffs and has not shot much. Mercer will finish this game with less than two shots. Bet on the under.
Mercer has not registered a shot on goal in the last two games and only had one in Game One of this series. While he had no problem shooting against the Rangers in the First Round, he has had plenty of problems shooting in this round. This can be for a multitude of reasons, but more importantly, his numbers lead me to believe that he will struggle to shoot again in this game. Bet on the under.

Timo Meier will be the subject of our second prop of the day. Meier has been very disappointing in the Playoffs. New Jersey traded for him with the expectation that he would help them win a Stanley Cup. However, he only has one point in the Playoffs. Meier will finish this game without a point. Bet on the under.
Meier had a goal in Game Three of this series, but six other players scored alongside him. While it is encouraging that he finally put a puck in the back of the net, it is also not that impressive. The 26-year-old is averaging nearly four shots a game in the Playoffs but only has one goal to show for it. Meier also has not had an assist in the Playoffs. The winger has been underwhelming and will not have a point in this game. Bet on the under.

We will look at the Hurricanes’ Sebastian Aho for our third prop bet of the day. Aho has continued to excel in the Playoffs. The center had 67 points in the regular season and ten points in the Postseason. He has been scoring at an efficient pace but has not been shooting all too much. Aho will finish this game with two shots or less. Bet on the under.
Aho shot 19 times in the First Round but has only twice in this round. One of those shots resulted in a goal, but his shot output this round is still surprising. For whatever reason, the Devils have his number and know how to limit his shooting. Since Aho has shot so little in the first three games, I cannot expect a change in Game Four. Bet on the under.

We will go to Seattle for our fourth prop bet of the day. The Kraken won 5-4 in overtime in Game One, but the Stars pulled out a 4-2 victory in Game Two. However, Seattle has the edge since they dominated in Game Three and won 7-2. The Kraken’s Jordan Eberle will be the subject of this prop. Eberle played a crucial role in the Kraken’s regular season success. The winger was pretty quiet in the First Round but has turned it up in the Second Round. He will finish this game with one or more points. Bet on the over.
Eberle has scored in all three games of this series and also had an assist in Game One. The winger only had three points in the First Round but already has four to begin this one. The odds may be at -105, but they should be higher. Since Eberle has been in a groove against Dallas, I do not see why he would go without a point in this game. Bet on the over.

We will look at the Star’s Roope Hintz for our fifth prop bet of the day. Hintz has been a stud for the Stars in the Playoffs. He is playing close to 19 minutes a game and leads the team in points (13). The center is also shooting quite a bit. Hintz will finish this game with three or more shots. Bet on the over.
Hintz is averaging 3.11 shots per game in the Playoffs. He did not put up too many shots in the First Round but has shot 13 times in the Second Round. The center has not shot less than four times against the Kraken and is in a shooting groove. Since Hintz is not afraid to shoot, I would expect him to put up at least four shots in this game. Bet on the over.

We are on to our final prop bet of the day. We will look at the Kraken’s Yanni Gourde for this prop. Gourde has surprised many with his Postseason play. He is playing over 20 minutes a game and has a team-leading nine points. The center will have another point in this game. Bet on the over.
Gourde has had one point in each game of this series and had two points in Game Seven of the Kraken’s First Round series against the Colorado Avalanche. The Quebec native is stepping up at the right time and playing some key minutes for Seattle. He will continue his strong play in this game and have a point today. Bet on the over.
