Four Winds has got lots of interesting bonuses, which will prove valuable for all kinds of players. Welcome bonus, on-running promos, sportsbook bonuses, offers for the brick-and-mortar casino – there really is something for everyone. You’ll find the Promotions & Offers section in the menu, which contains all the offers currently live on the site.
We’ve summarized the main online casino bonuses below, but don’t sleep on the sportsbook or physical casino promos if they appeal to you too.
Four Winds’ welcome bonus is a good one. Probably the most common offer across all online casinos we review is the standard 100% welcome bonus – effectively a chance to double your bankroll based on your first deposit.
Four Winds has gone one better, with an extremely impressive 200% offer which means you can triple your first deposit.
The most you can claim via this offer is $200, meaning a $100 outlay on your behalf. It’s not the largest limit in the world, but paying a hundred bucks for a $300 bankroll is great. The wagering requirements attached to the bonus cash are 10x on slot games or sports bets, but considerably more for table games at 100x.
This turnover rate is good, definitely above average for the biggest online casinos in the US. Resorts Casino in NJ for example has 30x wagering requirements for a 100% bonus – albeit one worth up to $750.
And that’s not all. Four Winds also include a special Million Dollar Spin as part of the welcome bonus package. Once you’ve signed up you’ll get to spin the wheel to receive a random prize, with the top prize being $1,000,000.
You don’t need a promo code to claim Four Winds’ welcome offer. Instead, you’ll simply need to opt-in by checking the bonus offer box during the registration process – you can’t miss it.
Four Winds have a nice referral offer, where you will both benefit if you get a friend to sign up. All you need to do is invite your friends by typing their email addresses into the Refer a Friend section of your account. If they sign up via your link and make a deposit of $50 or more, you’ll receive $50 in bonus cash and they’ll receive an additional $10.
Simple and valuable, as we like our bonuses.
This is an example of the on-running promotions that Four Winds have. To take part, all you have to do is play table games on a Thursday. If you wind up with net losses on the day, you can reclaim 20% of them, up to a max of $500.
You can opt into this bonus using the code TABLES2022. The refund will appear in your account automatically, in the form of bonus cash with wagering requirements attached.
Four Winds comes up with offers like this all the time, with new ones appearing in the Promotions section regularly, so make sure you check to see what’s up for grabs.
Four Winds does a good job of creating on-running promos for loyal players, but for now it doesn’t have a traditional tiered loyalty program, as many casinos do. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s something they could certainly think about adding in the future.
Four Winds’ collection of games is on the smaller side overall, with around 250 in total. The slots make up the majority, but there’s also a decent array of table games and jackpot games.
Compared with the deepest casinos out there, however, Four Winds is also lacking a few types of games. We’re covering the entire menu in this section, including where we think the casino could improve.
The range of slots is very good, with well over 200 casino games on the menu. It’s true that you can find casinos out there with significantly more, but in our experience, you mostly wind up playing your same collection of favorites, and 200 is plenty to discover.
The games come from some of the top software providers around, like NetEnt and IGT, and include popular titles like Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest. Four Winds also has some classic progressive jackpot games, like Divine Fortune and Mercy of the Gods.
We had a lot of fun playing around with all the slots during our Four Winds review. You can spin the reels from as little as $0.01 and the variety on the menu is up there with any other casino, even if there overall count is on the smaller side.
The gaming menu at Four Winds is more or less split into slots and table games, with around 30 of the latter on the books. You’ll find lots of types of blackjack, roulette and video poker, but there are a few notable absences too. We’d like to see craps and keno added, and some bingo options would be nice too.
Four Winds doesn’t currently include any scratch games.
There are no live dealer tables at Four Winds. This is probably the most significant absence from the gaming menu, and an area that the casino should be thinking about improving.
Live tables – where you can play real games via a live video link – have become a major part of online casinos in the US. It’s a fresh way to play games online, and represents a very fun alternative to traditional virtual games.
If Four Winds wants to keep improving its gaming options, this is a great place to start.
We love online casinos that have a sportsbook integrated into the platform, and that’s exactly what Four Winds has. You can flip to the sportsbook using the tab at the top of the screen, where you’ll find a huge range of bets on sports from around the world.
Four Winds’ live betting section in particular is excellent, with lots of bets available in games as they happen, and live updates included right there on the platform.
Four Winds is fully mobile compatible, either via your device’s browser or through the mobile app which is available for both iPhone and Android. Playing in-browser means you don’t need to download any additional software, you can just log in exactly the same as you would on a laptop.
For convenience though, it’s hard to beat the mobile app.
It gives you access to Four Winds’ full menu of games, right there on your phone, 24/7. The app is currently rated 3.6/5 on the App Store, and has been downloaded more than 50,000 times.
The app detects whether you’re playing on mobile or tablet, and adapts to the size of the screen. Overall, the app feels quite similar to FireKeepers’ mobile application – another one of the local online casinos in MI.
Both have a smaller than average number of games on the menu, but with great mobile software that makes it easy to sign up, browse and play games from anywhere in the state.
There are lots of great sites accepting players in Michigan and in plenty of other states around the US. Check out the summary below to see how Four Winds compares with some of the competition.

We’re giving Four Winds a great score for payment methods, with a good range of technologies available at user-friendly limits. First and foremost, we like to see variety here, and that’s what Four Winds provides. Whether you like to deposit with credit or debit cards or e-wallets, or even in cash, there’s a way for you to do so.
Deposits are processed instantly, with a $10 minimum associated with most methods. Four Winds also doesn’t charge processing fees for any transactions, which is great to see.
As is often the case, Four Winds imposes a pending period on all withdrawal requests. There is no exact guidance given for how long it takes before your money is available, but during our tests it normally took around 3-4 days before the request was approved.
After approval, your winnings are released at different times depending on the payment technology. PayPal and Play+ Cards are quickest, with your money available more or less immediately after the pending period. ACH transfers take an extra couple of days.
Below are all the payment methods supported at Four Winds.

Four Winds does customer support very well, both in terms of ways to contact the support team and just by providing a lot of clear and useful information in the Help Section and a list of FAQs.
You can call the casino directly at 866-494-6371, or email the team using the email you’ll find in the Help Section.
Or, best of all, you can simply get live chat support right there on the platform, available from 9 am to 9 pm, seven days a week.
We’re giving Four Winds a great score for customer support.
Four Winds New Buffalo opened its doors in August 2007 at 11111 Wilson Rd. New Buffalo, MI 49117.
The casino is owned and operated by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, who also added another two satellite casinos in the decade that followed – Four Winds Hartford and Four Winds Dowagiac. 2018 saw the launch of Four Winds South Bend in South Bend in neighboring Indiana.
The flagship casino in New Buffalo is designed in the style of the Potawatomi people’s traditional homes and underwent an upgrade in 2011, adding an additional 250 rooms to the property.
Four Winds entered the online market in 2021 after being granted a license by the Michigan Gaming Control Board. It was the 11th online casino to launch in the state, and initially at least is available exclusively in Michigan.
We’re also happy to give Four Winds our seal of approval for trustworthiness and security. The casino is one of the most emblematic in Michigan, with thousands of customers and visitors every year, and the tribe has even opened a property in neighboring Indiana.
Four Winds online platform follows the same high standards.
The gaming menu is provided by some of the top software companies in the world, who have their Random Number Generator software regularly tested for fairness.
NetEnt for example has been awarded certifications of fairness from both eCogra and iTech, two of the top testing labs in the business. All transactions on the site are protected by “state-of-the-art” encryption measures.
Four Winds is licensed and regulated by the Michigan Gaming Control Board, who independently monitors all activity on the site for fairness.
We always like to provide some areas of suggested improvement with every review. No site is perfect, and our favorite casinos are the ones that consistently strive to improve. Here’s what we came up with for Four Winds.
250 games in total is below average for US online casinos in general, so adding more games is an obvious place to start. The biggest omission for sure is the lack of live dealer tables, which are becoming essential for the best online casinos. We’d love to see a selection of live tables added, from the likes of Evolution or Ezugi for example.
Although there is a loyalty program for customers of the physical casino, Four Winds’ online platform doesn’t really have a rewards program for users who keep coming back to play regularly. It would be a welcome addition.
We love the welcome bonus package, but if your priority is to get as much bonus cash as possible on sign up you might prefer other casinos with larger limits on their deposit bonus. For example, the most you can claim at Four Winds is $200, but for Firekeepers you can claim up to $500 – albeit at a lower rate than the 200% offer at Four Winds.
Four Winds are really doing a lot of things right.
Despite maxing out at $200, the welcome bonus package is truly excellent. A 200% deposit bonus is almost unheard of, and the wagering requirements of just 10x make this a really excellent offer.
Signing up with a deposit of just $100 means you get a bankroll of $300, with very attainable turnover. It’s a truly valuable offer, which is not always the case.
The bonus section of Four Winds is pretty stacked in general in fact, both for the casino and sports betting.
It’s always nice to see so many interesting on-running promotions, and it’s a sign of a casino that looks after its players.
We’re very happy with Four Winds from a banking perspective, and the same goes for both customer support and security.
