WNBA Player Props and Best Bets: Expect Big Nights From Janelle Salaun and A’ja Wilson
The playoff field is set, but the WNBA regular season is not over yet. Four games are scheduled for tonight, featuring five of this season’s eight playoff-bound teams. These teams will likely not play their stars much (if at all), but there are still good WNBA Player Prop bets to be made tonight.
But two of these four games still have some meaning. Golden State can slide up to the No. 6 seed with a win over Minnesota (they own the tiebreaker with Indiana), and Las Vegas can move up to the No. 2 seed with a win over the Sparks (they own the tiebreaker with Atlanta).

Golden State Valkyries vs. Minnesota Lynx
Minnesota is not going to put its A-team on the court for long, if at all. But since the Valkyries can move up to the No. 6 seed with a win, chances are they will—at least until the game is in hand.
Janelle Salaun, OVER 12.5 Points (-104) at FanDuel
-
OVER 4.5 Rebounds at -162
-
To score 15+ points at +172
Salaun has been coming on strong in recent games with 15+ in four of her last six games, which includes a 15-point night vs. the Lynx (Sept. 9). Minnesota is typically a stout defense at home, but they’ll be focused more on the playoffs.
Expecting 15+ may be asking too much, but she has been taking charge on the offensive end lately and putting up points. As long as she plays 30+, Salaun will score OVER 12.5 points and probably 15+.
As for her rebound total, she has averaged 4.9 per game this season, had eight vs. Minnesota on Saturday, and 4.5+ in five of her last seven games. With the Lynx more interested in Sunday than today, she could be good for at least five tonight.

Veronica Burton, OVER 6.5 Assists (-120) at FanDuel
Burton has been busy dishing out dimes down the stretch. She has 11 on Tuesday in the win over Seattle and six in the loss to Minnesota last Saturday. Since Aug. 1, she has had 10+ in five of 17 games and OVER 6.5 in nine games.
Against an unmotivated Minnesota team, I like her chances to get at least seven tonight.

Las Vegas Aces vs. Los Angeles Sparks
A'ja Wilson, to Score 25+ Points (+158) at FanDuel
The Las Vegas Aces want to win tonight and move up to the No. 2 spot in the playoff bracket, giving them home-court advantage through the semi-finals. To that end, they’ll ask their superstar and the reigning MVP, A'ja Wilson, to continue doing what she does best.
Wilson has now become the heavy favorite to win WNBA MVP (-1100 at FanDuel). Tonight, she’ll put the nail in the coffin of the MVP and secure the No. 2 seed for her team with a big night. She has averaged 25.3 per game since Aug. 1; she’ll get at least that against LA’s dismal defense.

A'ja Wilson, to Record 40+ Pts + Reb + Ast (+230) at FanDuel
This TOTAL is a tall order to ask of anyone, even Wilson. But she scored 34 and 35 against the Sparks this season, almost reaching that point with points alone. She has been averaging 25.3 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game since Aug. 1.
She’ll need to pick up the slack somewhere if she just matches those averages, but at +230, this market has value.
