Harry Kane was not at his best at the European Championship, yet he still finished as joint-top scorer. Now that the Bayern Munich frontman is fully fit again, he is the overwhelming favorite with the best online sportsbooks to finish as the Bundesliga’s top scorer - just like he did last term.
Kane struck a hat-trick as Bayern demolished Holstein Kiel 6-1 at the weekend. He has four goals to his name in three outings so far; perhaps only an injury could stop him taking the prize again.

After scoring 21 times in Ligue 1 for Lens in 2022/23, Lois Openda earned a switch to RB Leipzig. He instantly made his mark last season, finding the back of the net 24 times in 34 Bundesliga games. The Belgium international is an excellent striker and he could challenge the likes of Harry Kane this term.
Openda struck a brace as Leipzig beat Bayer Leverkusen earlier this year, but he did not find the back of the net against either Bochum or Union Berlin. Still, he has the potential to score plenty this season.

Bayer Leverkusen went unbeaten on their way to the Bundesliga title last season. Theirs was a collective triumph, but there is no doubt Victor Boniface played a big part in their success. The Nigeria international only scored 14 times last season, but that was in part because he made just 23 appearances.
Boniface was at his best last time out, notching a brace as Leverkusen beat Hoffenheim 4-1. His manager Xabi Alonso still wants to see more, though: “He can and must do more,” he said. “He knows it and the team needs it.”

Serhou Guirassy had a magnificent season last time out, scoring 28 goals in 28 games for Stuttgart. He could have pushed Harry Kane even closer had he not missed a handful of games through injury and international duty.
Guirassy’s exploits last season earned him a move to Borussia Dortmund over the summer. However, he missed the first few games of the campaign with a fresh injury problem, so he is playing catch-up already.

Wanted by clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea, Benjamin Sesko ended up signing a new contract with RB Leipzig at the beginning of the summer. That was a fantastic development for Marco Rose’s side, who will hope to be in the title conversation in the 2024/25 Bundesliga.
Sesko is a talented forward, but it is worth bearing in mind that he only scored 14 times last time out. It would require a huge improvement for Sesko to finish as the Bundesliga top scorer, while there is also the issue of Lois Openda being Leverkusen’s chief scoring threat.
