Atlanta Braves vs Toronto Blue Jays

My Pick - Chris Bassitt Pitcher Prop Strikeouts O 4.5 (-135)

We will go to Toronto for our first prop bet of the day. These teams are exciting and both have similar records, so this will be one of the best games of the day. This will probably also be a close game. The Braves are strong on the road, and the Blue Jays are strong at home, so these teams will bring their best. We will look at Chris Bassitt for this prop.

Bassitt is in the back half of his career but is coming off one of his best seasons. He pitched for the New York Mets last year and finished with a 15-9 record and a 3.42 ERA. The righty has struggled a touch this year but is beginning to return to form. Bassitt is not known for throwing strikeouts but will have five or more in this game. Bet on the over.

Bassitt is averaging almost six innings a start. That leaves him with many opportunities to get strikeouts. The 34-year-old has an average of 4.7 strikeouts per game but struck out five in his previous start and seven in his start before that. He is beginning to hit a groove and strike out more batters. It is also worth noting that Bassitt has had five or more strikeouts in five of his last six starts. The numbers push towards the over, so I recommend betting on it.

Los Angeles Angels vs Cleveland Guardians

My Pick - Logan Allen Pitcher Prop Outs Recorded U 16.5 (-105)

We will go from Toronto to Cleveland for our second prop bet of the day. The Los Angeles Angels roster is full of promise, but they are barely sitting above .500. On the other side, the Cleveland Guardians’ roster is not excellent but is better than many. With that being said, Cleveland is underperforming and sits below .500.

Since both of these teams are not playing too well, this will be one of the less exciting games of the day. Logan Allen will be the subject of this prop. Allen made his MLB debut this year and has started three games. He has performed quite well but is not pitching particularly deep into games. He will not record 17 outs or more. Bet on the under.

Allen has a 1-1 record, a 2.70 ERA, and a 1.26 WHIP. He has faced the Miami Marlins, Boston Red Sox, and Minnesota Twins this season. Miami’s lineup is not great, but the Red Sox and Twins have a solid group of hitters. With that being said, this will be his toughest matchup yet. The Angels are averaging over 5.1 runs per game and have six-seven strong hitters in their lineup on any given night. They will give Allen some problems and knock him out before the sixth inning. Bet on the under.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Colorado Rockies

My Pick - Alec Bohm Batter Prop RBIs O 0.5 (+130)

Our final prop bet of the day will take us to Denver, Colorado. This will be our only RBI prop of the day. Alec Bohm will be the subject of this prop. Bohm has been in the MLB since 2020 but did not make a splash until last year. The first baseman played in 152 games last season and had 13 home runs and 72 RBIs. Bohm is off to an even stronger start this year. He will finish this game with at least one RBI. Bet on the over.

Bohm has not had an RBI in his previous three games. However, he is facing a pitcher today who has had his struggles. That pitcher goes by the name of Austin Gomber. Gomber has had an up-and-down season. He only allowed two earned runs in his previous start but also gave up nine earned runs in a start in mid-April. There is not a lot of consistency, which leads me to believe he will struggle a bit today against this tough Phillies’ lineup. These struggles will lead to an Alec Bohm RBI. Bet on the over.
