Best MLB Prop Bets October 31

Corbin Carroll 2+ Total Bases (-120 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Corbin Carroll has been one of the star players for the Diamondbacks throughout the postseason. Carroll has been consistent for his team and come up with multiple big hits in every round.

He is batting .281 in the playoffs with a .373 OBP. He has two homers, a double, and a triple as well. Carroll must bring this effort on Tuesday night as his team is down 2-1, making this a must-win game.

Arizona is still alive in the series, but they can’t afford to go down 3-1, as this would be a death sentence. The Diamondbacks have done some fantastic things, but they don’t have the talent to return from a 3-1 deficit.

Carroll’s offense will help set the tone, and he has delivered in every high-leverage situation this season. We’ll lean on his total bases line tonight, which is set at 2+. He is coming off a bad game on Monday, which was the theme for the whole team.

However, the game before, he was 2 of 5 with two RBI. He also recorded two RBI in the first contest of the series. If Carroll can bring his effort from the first two games of the series, he will sail over 2+ bases.

Ketel Marte 2+ Total Bases (-140 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Ketel Marte is in line to win World Series MVP if the Diamondbacks can find a way to win the World Series. He has been sensational in every game of the playoffs and set multiple records for his consistent hitting.

Marte didn’t do anything special on Monday, but he has now gotten a hit in all 16 of Arizona’s postseason contests this year. Marte is batting .333 in the playoffs with a .362 OBP and a .908 OPS.

He has only hit two homers but has gotten on base and been the catalyst for multiple run-scoring efforts. Marte’s total bases line is set at 2+ for -140. The price is a little high, but Marte hasn’t given us a reason to go against him thus far.

Since he has been so consistent, this is a very fair price to pay in our mind. He has exceeded this once in the series but has six multi-hit games and six extra-base hits in the postseason.

Marte will face Andrew Heaney, who hasn’t pitched well in the playoffs. He has a 6.00 ERA and a 1.5 WHIP over six innings. This will be a bullpen game for the Rangers, so we don’t expect Heaney to be in the game too long. Yet, he gives the Diamondbacks a chance to rack up a lot of hits before the end of the first.

Corey Seager Home Run (+400 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Corey Seager has been one of the best hitters in baseball this season. He batted .327 with 33 homers and 96 RBI in 2023. He was also second in baseball in OPS at 1.013. Seager broke Arizona’s back with a home run early in the game.

This helped set the tone for the matchup and was needed, as the Rangers didn’t score again after the big swing. Adolis Garcia hurt his back on a swing late in the game, which is a huge loss for the Rangers. Garcia’s injury puts the pressure on Seager, who is now the biggest power hitter.

Look for Seager to stay within himself and not try to do too much in Garcia’s absence. This approach could lead to another big swing for Seager. He will face Joe Mantiply early in the game, and the pitcher has been very hittable in 2023.

Matiply is 2-0 with a 4.26 and a 1.26 WHIP in the playoffs. He has three walks in 6.1 innings, which is one of his trouble spots. The free passes could force Mantiply to throw to Seager on Tuesday.
