Dodgers vs. Giants - Tyler Glasnow vs. Logan Webb (3:45 PM EST)

The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped this series to the Giants but will look to salvage things in the final contest against their NL West rivals. A late home run lifted San Francisco to a win on Wednesday night, though the game was low-scoring early.

Under 0.5 Run (-162) at FanDuel Sportsbook

With Tyler Glasnow facing Logan Webb, both teams are sending capable arms to the mound who can dominate early. Glasnow has posted a strong 0.94 WHIP with 22 strikeouts in just 18 innings, showcasing elite swing-and-miss stuff.

Webb’s overall ERA may not jump off the page, but he’s known for generating weak contact at home, and his numbers should improve. Both lineups are also coming in somewhat cold, with Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Tucker struggling in this series.

If those two don’t produce, the Dodgers could have trouble in this matchup. The pitchers have the edge over the offenses, and it’s also very difficult to hit home runs in San Francisco.

Cam Schlittler grew up a Red Sox fan and will take the mound at Fenway Park for the first time. He has made it clear this week that he’s motivated for this matchup.

New York is one game away from a sweep and is in a good position to secure the victory.

Schlittler may not be a household name yet, but he’s quickly emerging as one of the best young arms in MLB. He leans on a 100 mph fastball and a filthy off-speed arsenal.

The Red Sox couldn’t handle Max Fried on Wednesday, and Schlittler presents another tough challenge.

Brayan Bello has the potential to be one of Boston’s top starters, though he’s been inconsistent. Still, he has performed well against the Yankees since entering the league. His heavy sinker generates ground balls, which is key against a lineup that does most of its damage when the ball is elevated.

Even though the Yankees’ offense has had more success than Boston’s, it hasn’t been consistent. Bello should be able to keep them off balance early.

He has struck out 28 batters in 27.1 innings, giving him the ability to pitch out of trouble. The Mets haven’t made many pitchers sweat this season, and this doesn’t look like the spot where that changes.

Christian Scott will make his first start of the season, which could work in his favor since Minnesota has no prior experience against him. Hitters often struggle the first time they face a new arm.

While he may improve, there’s no evidence yet that he will turn things around soon. Ryan Feltner has been solid for Colorado, but this game being played in Colorado is a major factor. The ball tends to carry there, which increases the likelihood of early scoring.
