Home Run Picks for Thursday, May 21

There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the three players we’re locked in on. 

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Anytime Home Run (+490) at FanDuel Sportsbook

After a dominant run in April, the Jays’ first baseman has gone into an epic slump. He’s batting .145 with one home run in May, but he’s starting to show some signs of life. The recent bounce-back can be partly attributed to Yankee Stadium. While he’s struggled there early this season, he’s batting .383 with four home runs over 47 at-bats.

New York’s better-friendly park is one reason to back the star, as we also love that Carlos Rodon (0-1, 5.63 ERA, 1.63 WHIP) is slated to be on the mound. While he was an All-Star in 2025, his career has also been defined by inconsistency and injuries. That means his early struggles may not be going anywhere, especially when pitching in one of the most hitter-friendly stadiums in the league.

Guerrero knows Rodon well, posting 11 hits, two home runs, and a 1.807 OPS over 18 at-bats.

We know the slugger’s slump can’t last much longer, and believe tonight’s factors will help snap him out of it with a bang.

Shea Langeliers Anytime Home Run (+340) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The A’s continue to sit atop the division this season, steadily climbing the board in the latest AL West odds, and Shea Langeliers is a big reason why. The catcher ranks in the top five in batting average (.328) and in the top ten for OPS (.982). A big reason for his success is his 12 home runs, which is the thirteenth-highest total in the MLB. Given the 28-year-old’s consistent growth over the last three seasons, his hot start may be far more than a fluke.

Langeliers will be facing Angels’ starter Jose Soriano (6-3, 2.41 ERA, 1.07 WHIP) on the mound to start this one. The righty is off to a fantastic start in 2026, but he’s once again seen far more success on the road than at Angel Stadium. Last season, he went 2-8 with a 5.90 ERA and eight home runs over 15 starts.

Over 11 at-bats, Langeliers has the edge with six hits and a pair of home runs.

Even if Soriano’s success continues today, Langeliers will still have a chance to cover this bet against a bullpen with the second-highest ERA (5.63) and 25 home runs surrendered this season.

Corbin Carroll Anytime Home Run (+420) at FanDuel Sportsbook

When Corbin Carroll is hot, he is one of the most dangerous hitters in baseball. That’s currently the case, with the young star batting .423 with two home runs over his last eight games. We like to continue, especially after receiving a scheduled day off yesterday.

Another reason to back Carroll to hit a home run tonight is the Rockies starter, Tomoyuki Sugano. The 36-year-old underwhelmed in his 2025 rookie season with the Orioles, forcing him to join the Rockies this season. While the pitcher was plagued by home runs last year, he’s been surprisingly good at limiting them at Coors Field (3 HR). Unfortunately, that success hasn’t translated to the road (6 HR).

Sugano has also struggled against left-handed hitters like Carroll. They have posted a .939 OPS against the Colorado starter this year, accounting for six of the nine home runs he’s allowed.

It’s also important to note that while Chase Field isn’t Coors Field, it is the second-most hitter-friendly park in the league. That is bad news for Sugano and a Rockies' bullpen that ranks in the bottom ten of the league in home runs (27).
