Aaron Nola has had a long and impressive career, but 2026 has been one he’d like to forget. The starter continues to struggle on the mound and has already allowed 28 home runs, which is tied for the most in the league. That has us betting against him tonight with a home run prop bet.
We’ll share our three favorite home run predictions for Saturday below, along with why we love each.

Home Run Picks for Saturday, August 8
There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the three players we’re locked in on.
Kazuma Okamoto Anytime Home Run (+340) at FanDuel Sportsbook
The Jays’ third baseman has struggled to hit for average in his first MLB season, but that hasn’t stopped him from launching 24 home runs and driving in 70 RBIs. He’s been the team’s only reliable power hitter, earning him a solid spot in the order on any given night.
We like Okamoto’s chances to add another home run tonight with Aaron Nola (3-9, 5.55 ERA, 1.44 WHIP) on the mound for the Phillies. The veteran’s nightmare season has shown no signs of slowing down, and home runs continue to be an issue. He’s allowed 28 on the season, which is tied for the highest total in the league.
Nola’s worst play has come at home this season, where he is 0-4 with a 6.47 ERA over 11 starts. He has allowed 15 home runs in those games, and opponents are batting .309.
Once the starter exits, he’ll be turning things over to a Philly bullpen that has also disappointed in 2026. Their 4.39 ERA puts them in the bottom ten of the league, meaning Okamoto should see chances to go deep throughout today’s game.

Jordan Walker Anytime Home Run (+320) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Walker’s power surge has cooled off over the last month, but his bat has gotten hot in August. Despite not registering a home run, the young star is batting .368 and is riding a seven-game hit streak. With a favorable pitching matchup on deck for tonight, we love his chances to post his first home run.
The Rockies will be sending Kyle Freeland (3-10, 6.81 ERA, 1.49 HWIP) out to start tonight. The 33-year-old is having a brutal campaign, especially when on the road. The lefty hasn’t benefited when away from Coors Field, going 0-7 with an 8.29 ERA, 12 home runs allowed, and a .324 OBA.
The southpaw has also been a mess against righties like Walker, who are batting .307 with a .926 OPS against Freeland in 2026.

Hunter Goodman Anytime Home Run (+310) at FanDuel Sportsbook
The Rockies catcher has been one of the bright spots during another forgettable Rockies season, posting the second-most home runs (33) in the league. While he’s benefited from playing at Coors Field, 18 of his 33 home runs have come on the road, where he owns an impressive .904 OPS.
Goodman and Colorado will be up against Cardinals starter Matthew Liberatore (5-8, 4.97 ERA, 1.49 WHIP) tonight. The lefty is coming off an impressive start, but has struggled most of the season. That was especially the case last month, when opponents were batting .321 against him.
The catcher has faced Liberatore twice and took him deep once. Goodman finished with two home runs at Busch Stadium II over nine at-bats.
