Pacers vs Thunder Game 7 Prediction Odds

Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Pick

Game 7 of the NBA Finals is here, and an NBA Champion will finally be crowned. The Oklahoma City Thunder are coming off a devastating loss but will have a homecourt advantage on Sunday night. A top performance in Game 6 will buoy the Indiana Pacers, but the injury to Tyrese Haliburton can’t be ignored. While the series has had big blowouts, it’s been back-and-forth and competitive. Indiana has covered a +7.5 spread in four games this series. Count on them to do the same in Game 7, regardless of the result.

Indiana Pacers Preview

Game 7 looms and the Indiana Pacers are one victory away from exceeding expectations and bringing home the NBA Championship! They upset the Thunder in Game 6 despite an injury to Tyrese Haliburton, and they’ll go into hostile territory in hopes of bringing home the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

The Indiana Pacers put on an absolute clinic in offensive execution during Game 6. They scored 108 points on 41.3% shooting from the field, hitting 15 threes on 35.7% efficiency. Notably, they won the battle on the glass, outrebounding the Thunder by five while collecting 11 offensive rebounds to their opponents’ four. Hustle won the Pacers Game 6, and they have a chance to bring it all together once more for an NBA Championship!

Once again, the Indiana Pacers spread their offensive contributions in Game 6 with six double-digit scorers. Obi Toppin led the way in the scoring column, putting up 20 points and six rebounds with four made threes off the bench. Pascal Siakam led the team, scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds on 42.9% shooting. Despite his injury, Tyrese Haliburton posted 13 points, five assists, and three made threes in 22 minutes.

The Indiana Pacers have improved against the spread throughout the postseason, putting up a 50-51-3 ATS Record, the fifth-best in the NBA. They have a 49.5% cover percentage, a +2.3 margin of victory, and a +1.1 ATS +/- this season. In Game 6, the Pacers covered the spread (+5.5), hit under the total (222.5), and won outright (+187).

  • Indiana Pacers Injury Report: (G) Tyrese Haliburton (Calf) is a Game Time Decision for Game 7 despite playing Game 6 with a calf strain. (C) Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) remains out for the remainder of the season, while (F) Jarace Walker (Ankle) has been ruled out for Game 7 and hasn’t appeared in this series.

Oklahoma City Thunder Preview

While many believed the Thunder would easily take this series, they’ve been thwarted by Indiana repeatedly. League MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will lead the way one last time this season, but all eyes are on the Oklahoma City role players to support their star man with the NBA Championship on the line.

The Oklahoma City Thunder never got in gear during Game 6. Their offense struggled, scoring just 91 points on 41.9% shooting. They also struggled mightily from three-point range, hitting just 8-of-30 three-point attempts. They have no room for error in Game 7, and after committing 21 turnovers in a series-clinching Game 6, the Thunder look more vulnerable than ever.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way in Game 6 for the Thunder, putting up 31 points, four rebounds, and two assists on 46.7% from the field. Jalen Williams, who was coming off a 40-point night, posted 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting. They’ll need more from big man Chet Holmgren, who put up a paltry four points and six rebounds in 24 minutes of play.

The Oklahoma City Thunder closed their season with a 63-38-4 ATS Record, which is far and away the best mark in the NBA. They have a 62.4% cover percentage, a +11.4 margin of victory, and a +2.7 ATS +/- this season. The Thunder were coming off Game 6, where they hit under the total (222.5), failed to cover the spread (-5.5), and won outright (-222).

  • Oklahoma City Thunder Injury Report: (G) Nikola Topic (Knee) remains out and will potentially make a return next season.
