Colts vs. 49ers Same Game Parlay Picks: Grandpa Rivers at it Again
The 49ers have won four straight games while the Colts have lost four in a row.
In his first game back in five years, Colts quarterback Philip Rivers completed 18 of 27 passes for 120 yards, one touchdown, and an interception at the very end of the game.
49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has scored in seven of his last nine games.
To close out Week 16 of the 2025-26 NFL season, the 8-6 Indianapolis Colts are hosting the 10-4 San Francisco 49ers.
The Colts are coming off a loss to the Seattle Seahawks, 18-16, but this was Philip Rivers’, a 44-year-old grandfather, first game in five years after signing the week before.
As for the 49ers, they beat the Tennessee Titans 37-24 and have won four in a row.
Neither team is inside the top nine in Super Bowl odds. Additionally, both teams rank 13th or worse in our NFL defense rankings, with the 49ers at No. 13 and the Colts at No. 20.
With that being said, below, I've constructed a three-same Same Game Parlay for this matchup with +265 odds at Fanatics Sportsbook.

Colts +6 (-110) at Fanatics Sportsbook
The Colts were underdogs by nearly two touchdowns heading into Seattle last week and lost by only two points. In fact, the Seahawks didn’t score a single touchdown; they kicked and made all six field goal attempts.
As for the Colts, it was what everyone expected for Rivers in his first game in five years: Short pass attempts, running the ball well, and the defense doing all they could.
That’ll be the game plan here again.
Rivers completed almost 67% of his passes and averaged barely over four yards per attempt. While that’s not exactly an offensive shootout, consider this: the Colts had a 31:05 time of possession, which was about two minutes more than the Seahawks.
The concept is simple for the Colts offensively, and there’s going to be a lot of games where the defense will have to step it up.
Against the Seahawks, they held them to 50 rushing yards. This season, the Colts are holding running backs to well under four yards per carry.
Based on what we saw last week, no, I’m not sure the Colts can win the game, but with a Hall of Fame quarterback under center, at home, and with a spread close to a touchdown, they’ll keep it close enough to cover the spread.

Philip Rivers 125+ Passing Yards (-300) at Fanatics Sportsbook
Rivers fell just short of this line last week, and now he has another week to get into the swing of things and will face a softer defense.
I also think that while Rivers may have limitations on his ability to push the ball downfield, he’ll have a bit more time to get the ball out. The 49ers are 28th in pressures (154), while the Seahawks are second in the NFL in that same category (229).
Additionally, running back Jonathan Taylor is seventh in the NFL in yards after the catch per reception (9.9), so that’ll help Rivers get a few more passing yards.
This is a better matchup for Rivers.

Christian McCaffrey Anytime Touchdown (-215) at Fanatics Sportsbook
Heading into this matchup, McCaffey has scored in seven of his last nine games and six times over his previous four.
Over his last three games, he’s averaging 26 touches per game.
Now, he’s taking on a Colts defense that may be allowing just 21 carries for 80.07 yards (3.81 yards per attempt) per game. Opposing running backs have scored in all but five games, including in six of his last seven games.
With Brock Purdy as his quarterback, McCaffrey is second in target share at 21.8%, catching 32 passes on 39 targets for 293 yards and two touchdowns across six games.
He’s going to get plenty of touches and will find the end zone.
