Fanatics Sportsbook is a mobile-only betting app from sports-merch heavyweight Fanatics. It has muscled its way into the upper echelon of US sports betting since taking over PointsBet’s licenses in 2024. Amidst a wave of new sports betting sites continuously hitting the market, Fanatics stands out as one of the most successful expansions in recent years.
Few things sell Fanatics better than its FanCash rewards program, which hands you cashback on every wager and lets you turn it into bonus bets or team gear from the Fanatics store. This sportsbook also offers a few innovative features, including Squad Bets, Fair Play injury protection, and partial cash out. This Fanatics review digs into how it all holds up, from the odds and the app to payouts and support.

Fanatics Sportsbook Pros and Cons
Fanatics Promotions
The Fanatics promo for new users is a series of FanCash bet matches. Returning bettors have access to FanCash offers, daily boosts, contests, and referral promos, the same kind of perks you'll find across the top US sportsbooks.
Fanatics Bonus Code
A Fanatics promo code is not needed to claim the welcome offer. Just opt in, deposit, and bet.
Fanatics Welcome Offer

The Fanatics welcome bonus is one of the best sportsbook bonuses live right now, a 10 x $100 Bet Match in FanCash.
Each day, your first cash bet gets matched in FanCash up to $100. Do this for 10 consecutive days, and the offer reaches up to $1,000, win or lose. To qualify, opt in every day through the Promos tab and bet at -200 odds or longer. Only one $10+ bet per day counts. The offer is live in every Fanatics state apart from New York.
FanCash is Fanatics' own betting currency, separate from cash. You can convert it into bonus bets at a 1:1 rate (so $50 in FanCash becomes a $50 bonus bet), redeem it for profit boost tokens, or spend it on gear at the Fanatics store. In casino states, it also converts to casino credit. Your FanCash expires after 7 days, so use or convert it before then. Once it's a bonus bet, it carries a 1x playthrough, meaning if you win, you only keep the winnings. The stake itself isn't returned.
Expected Value (EV) of Fanatics Sportsbook's Sign-Up Offer
Fanatics Sportsbook structures its national welcome promo as a "Bet Match" offer, meaning you receive the bonus bets regardless of whether your qualifying wagers win or lose. Currently, their core national offer is up to $1,000 matched in FanCash, which is unlocked by matching your first daily bet up to $100 for 10 consecutive days.
Here is the EV of the Fanatics welcome offer:
$1,000 FanCash Match: Because the bonus is awarded regardless of your qualifying bets winning or losing, there is a 100% likelihood of triggering the bonus as long as you place the daily required wagers.
Fanatics EV Calculation: (1000 x 0.70) x 1.00 = $700.00
What is Expected Value (EV) and Why Does It Matter?
Expected Value (EV) is a mathematical formula that calculates the true baseline cash value of a sports betting promotion. We use this metric because a $1,000 bonus is rarely worth exactly $1,000 in real money. By taking the specific rules of an offer and combining them with the real life odds of your bets winning, EV gives you an accurate picture of what a promotion actually adds to your bankroll over time.
To figure this out for Fanatics, we need to look at two main things: what it takes to trigger the bonus, and how much those bonus credits are actually worth.
Step 1: Calculating the Implied Probability
Right now, the Fanatics national promo guarantees the daily bet match as long as you place your qualifying cash wagers. Your bets do not need to win to trigger the payout. So, the first part of our EV math is figuring out the odds of receiving the bonus, or implied probability.
Because Fanatics awards the FanCash no matter the outcome of the game, your implied probability of receiving the bonus is a guaranteed 100% (or 1.00 for the formula). As long as you complete the requirement of betting for the 10 consecutive days, you will receive the full match. You do not have to worry about betting on heavy favorites just to secure the bonus, which makes this a highly accessible promotional structure.
Step 2: The Bonus Conversion Factor
The second thing we look at is how Fanatics pays out. They hand out their rewards as FanCash, which functions exactly like Stake Not Returned (SNR) bonus bets. This just means if you win a bet using your FanCash, you get to keep your profits, but the bonus token itself disappears.
Because you do not get the stake back, a $1,000 bonus is not actually worth $1,000 in cash. Bettors generally use a 70% conversion rate (or 0.70) to figure out the real cash value of those tokens.
We do not just guess that 70% number. It is the realistic mathematical ceiling. While you could technically mathematically convert a bonus at 90% by betting on a massive +1000 underdog, you would need thousands of dollars in cash just to cover the other side, and the hidden sportsbook fees on longshots usually ruin the math anyway. Converting at 70% by using +350 to +400 underdogs is the sweet spot that normal bettors can actually hit without needing a massive bankroll.
Here is exactly how the math works in our case, using your combined $1,000 Fanatics bonus to lock in a 70% return (which is $700):
Step 1 (The Bonus): You place your $1,000 in FanCash on an underdog at +350 odds. If they win, you get $3,500 in profit (the original bonus stake disappears).
Step 2 (The Cash): To protect yourself, you go to a different sportsbook and bet $2,800 of your own cash on the opposing favorite at -400 odds. If they win, you get your $2,800 back plus $700 in profit.
Now let us look at the only two possible outcomes of the game:
If the Underdog wins: You win the $3,500 from your bonus bet, but you lose the $2,800 cash bet you placed on the favorite. Subtracting your $2,800 cash loss from your $3,500 profit leaves you with exactly $700 in cash.
If the Favorite wins: You win $700 in profit from your cash bet, and you lose your bonus bet. Since the bonus bet was not real money anyway, you still walk away with exactly $700 in cash.
Because bettors can use this simple math to convert a $1,000 bonus into $700 of real cash, we use 0.70 (70%) as our baseline conversion factor. It is the proven mathematical floor of what the bonus is actually worth.
The Final EV Formula:
EV = (Max Bonus Amount x Bonus Conversion Factor) x Implied Probability
Fanatics Welcome Bonus Timeline (January - July)
When we mapped out the promotional data for Fanatics Sportsbook over the first half of 2026, it revealed the most aggressive state-by-state fragmentation we have seen from any operator. After starting the year with a relatively unified national campaign, Fanatics completely splintered their approach in March, rolling out a massive A/B testing strategy with wildly different alternative offers depending on your exact location.
Here is a breakdown of how the Fanatics welcome package went from a single national offer to a complex, hyper-localized menu:
| States | Offer | Alternative Offer | Start Date | End Date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AZ, CO, CT, DC, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NJ, OH, PA, TN, VA, VT, WV, WY | Up to $2,000 in No Sweat Bets FanCash | None | Jan 2026 | Feb 2026 |
| CO, DC, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, PA | Up to $1,000 Matched in FanCash (10 x $100 Bet Match) | Bet $20, Get $200 in Bonus Bets Instantly | Mar 2026 | Ongoing |
| CT, MO, NC, NJ, VA, WV | Up to $1,000 Matched in FanCash (10 x $100 Bet Match) | Bet $20, Get $200 in Bonus Bets Sequenced Over 4 Days | Mar 2026 | Ongoing |
| AZ, IA, IN, MA, TN, WY | Up to $1,000 Matched in FanCash (10 x $100 Bet Match) | Bet $20, Get $350 in Bonus Bets Sequenced Over 7 Days | Mar 2026 | Ongoing |
| OH | Up to $1,000 Matched in FanCash (10 x $100 Bet Match) | Bet $100, Get $400 in Bonus Bets | Mar 2026 | Ongoing |
| IL | Up to $1,000 Matched in FanCash (10 x $100 Bet Match) | 3 x 500% Profit Boost Tokens | Mar 2026 | Ongoing |
| NY | 10x 100% Profit Boost Tokens | Up to $250 in No Sweat Bets FanCash | Jan 2026 | Ongoing |
Why Have We Seen These Changes?
The data shows a brand that is deep in the trenches of user acquisition testing. As one of the newer major players to fully transition its platform (following the PointsBet acquisition), Fanatics is actively trying to solve the industry's biggest problem: customer retention.
Their primary $1,000 FanCash Match requires users to bet for 10 consecutive days to maximize the value, essentially forcing a daily habit. But the real story is in the alternatives. By offering an "Instant" $200 in some states, but sequencing that same $200 over four days in others, and pushing it to $350 over seven days elsewhere, Fanatics is conducting a massive live experiment to see which payout structure creates the stickiest long-term bettors. Outliers like Ohio and Illinois feature totally unique high-dollar or profit-boost structures, likely to combat intense local market competition, while New York operates on its own static track due to the state's notoriously strict promotional tax laws.
Will We See Any Changes Soon?
Because Fanatics is currently running this massive multi-state experiment, we expect them to keep gathering data through the early summer. They are actively determining which of these five alternative structures yields the highest return on investment.
However, once they declare a "winner" from this data, it is highly likely they will consolidate back to a unified national approach. The global soccer calendar also presents a perfect opportunity for this pivot. They could easily hit the reset button across all markets and roll out a dedicated World Cup bonus offer to streamline their summer marketing push. If your specific state currently has an alternative offer that perfectly matches your betting rhythm, especially the highly lucrative 7-day or instant payout structures, it is incredibly smart to claim it before Fanatics potentially scraps the experiment and changes the board entirely.

FanCash Rewards
FanCash is the loyalty currency you earn on every bet, win or lose. The rate depends on your odds. You get roughly 1% at -110, about 3% on parlays, 5% on Same-Game Parlays, and up to 10% on long-odds bets. FanCash is redeemed one-for-one, either as bonus bets or as store credit for licensed gear on Fanatics.com.
On top of the cashback, Fanatics layers a tier program under the Fanatics ONE banner. You climb from ONEmember and ONEmember Pro through ONEgold and ONEplatinum all the way to invite-only ONEblack. Higher tiers unlock bigger FanCash boosts and priority support.
FanCash Multipliers
FanCash Multipliers raise your FanCash earnings on select sportsbook bets, with 2x, 3x, and 5x rates on featured markets.
World Soccer Profit Boosts
World Soccer Profit Boosts add a 100% boost on the World Cup and other major soccer markets while those events are live.
MLB Long Ball Jackpot
The MLB Long Ball Jackpot gives Fanatics bettors a shot at a daily share of $50,000 in FanCash. Place $5 or more on any player to hit a home run, and if your pick hits the longest homer in MLB that day, you split the FanCash prize pool with the other winners.
FanCash Drops & Draws
FanCash Drops & Draws are free-to-play games in the Rewards tab. Drops give select customers a free Friday entry, with one in four players winning up to $100,000 in FanCash. Draws require FanCash to enter, with prizes ranging from bet insurance and collectibles to event tickets
Fanatics Referral Bonus
The Fanatics referral bonus pays both sides when a friend signs on. Refer up to 5 friends, and you each pocket rewards. All they need to do is tap your link, download the app, verify their identity, deposit at least $10, and place the qualifying cash wager. The deal is live in most Fanatics states, except Massachusetts.
Available Betting Markets on Fanatics
Fanatics covers more than 20 sports. All the everyday stuff’s here: you've got the NFL, college football, NBA, WNBA, college hoops, MLB, NHL, soccer, tennis, golf, UFC, boxing, and NASCAR. For the major leagues, the usual betting options are covered. That means moneylines, spreads, totals, parlays, teasers, Same-Game Parlays, and futures. As for soccer, Fanatics prices up the Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, and MLS.
It reaches into smaller markets, too. Baseball bettors get NCAA Baseball, the World Baseball Classic, and Korea's KBO. Within basketball, you’ll also find odds on the EuroLeague. Fun fact, during the Winter Olympics, Fanatics posted lines on niche sports like speed skating and ski mountaineering.
Player props focus on the most common stat categories. For football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer, you’ll see markets such as passing yards, rushing yards, receptions, points, rebounds, assists, made threes, strikeouts, home runs, and goals.
Futures and specials let you bet beyond standard markets at Fanatics. Season-long combo bets give bettors a way to pair outcomes across divisions or conferences, while golf “winner without” markets price the tournament as if the favorite weren’t playing.
Live betting is baked in across the major sports. The odds update fast once the action starts, putting it right up there with the best live betting sites in the industry. If you’re up for superfast action, micro betting markets let you fire on the next pitch, drive, or point.
How Good Are Fanatics' Odds?
Fanatics' odds land in the middle of the pack, with an average two-way vig of 4.22% across our 10-game sample. That puts the bookie in a competitive range on mainline prices, even if some long-tailed props have a larger margin.
Here’s how we measured it. For each matchup, we converted both American moneyline prices into implied probability, then added them together to get the overround.
After subtracting 100%, the percentage that remained was the vig, or the sportsbook’s built-in hold on the market. For example, a -110 / +110 market has no vig. The higher the percentage, the more margin the book has built into the price.
Our sample covered baseball, basketball, soccer, and combat sports, with every line recorded at the same time for a fair comparison.
Your results may vary depending on the sport, date, market type, and how prices move before you place a bet.
| Match | Sport | Team 1 Odds | Team 2 Odds | Actual Vig |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yankees vs. Red Sox | MLB | -148 | +124 | 4.32% |
| Dodgers vs. Padres | MLB | -165 | +138 | 4.28% |
| Astros vs. Mariners | MLB | -120 | +102 | 4.05% |
| Braves vs. Phillies | MLB | -130 | +110 | 4.14% |
| Cubs vs. Cardinals | MLB | -125 | +105 | 4.34% |
| Aces vs. Liberty | WNBA | -135 | +114 | 4.18% |
| Sky vs. Fever | WNBA | -190 | +160 | 3.98% |
| Brazil vs. Cameroon (DNB) | Soccer (World Cup) | -260 | +210 | 4.48% |
| Argentina vs. Australia (DNB) | Soccer (World Cup) | -300 | +240 | 4.41% |
| Main Event | UFC | -200 | +168 | 3.98% |
| Average Vig | 4.22% |
Fanatics Features
Fanatics has a few standout features that separate it from the pack, with the team-building Squad Bets parlay and Fair Play injury protection leading the way.
Squad Bets (Your Squad)
Squad Bets lets you build a roster of three to six players and chase one combined stat target, like a general manager calling the shots. A normal parlay dies the moment one leg loses. With Squad Bets, the whole group's output counts toward the number, so a late grand slam from one player can bail out a quiet night from another.
Launched in March 2026, the feature covers the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, and major soccer events. Markets include points, home runs, strikeouts, goals, and touchdowns. It earns you FanCash, and Fair Play injury protection works with it too.

Fair Play Injury Protection
Fair Play voids player prop bets (parlay legs included) when your player exits early with an injury. For example, if an NFL player is ruled out before the end of the first quarter, the affected bets get refunded or settled as a win within about 30 minutes.
Same-Game Parlay+ (SGP Stack)
SGP+, which Fanatics calls the SGP stack, lets you combine picks from two different games on one ticket. For example, you can pair two legs from a Panthers game with two from a Hornets game, stringing cross-game correlations together that a standard SGP would box you out of.
Partial Cash Out
Partial Cash Out gives Fanatics bettors a way to lock in part of a live wager while keeping the rest in play. It’s still a less common feature among US sportsbooks, with BetMGM being one of the other major names that offer something similar.
Fanatics has it on most singles, along with Same-Game Parlays once the first leg has settled. Partial Cash Out has a $20 minimum, and the price includes a 3%–5% margin.
Live Streaming
Fanatics gives funded accounts access to live streams for a limited group of events, including major sports, MLS, and ATP and WTA tennis. The library isn’t huge, but in-app video is a useful extra if you’re betting live and want the stream alongside the odds.
Personalized Discover Feed
The Discover feed is Fanatics’ personalized home screen. It uses your favorite teams and betting history to surface bigger games, trending markets, and relevant offers. It makes the app easier to browse once it has enough data on what you like to bet on.
Fanatics User Experience
Fanatics is mobile-only, with no desktop version. The app is quick, and load times held up throughout our test, even on a busy match day.
Mobile (iOS & Android)

Everything happens inside one app on both iOS and Android.
Your balance and FanCash total show across the top. A search bar stands next to the sport tabs, and Promos get their own button in the corner.
The home screen opens on the personalized Discover feed, followed by featured bets and quick links. The bottom of the screen holds the main betting section, live betting, the FanCash hub, and the My Bets tab. My Bets sorts wagers into Open, Live, and Settled, with cash-out offers shown inline.
Adding selections is quick. Tapping odds sends them to the bet slip, and the payout updates as you go. The SGP builder puts a game's markets on one page, so you stack legs without jumping between screens. Placing a bet takes a couple of taps.
Fanatics Deposit & Withdrawal Speed
Fanatics supports six banking methods, although their availability varies by state. The sportsbook doesn’t charge fees on deposits or withdrawals. However, cash from a retail counter can’t be moved onto the app, which is limiting.
Deposit Methods
You can fund your account with PayPal, Venmo, debit card, Apple Pay, or online banking, and every one of those clears instantly. Wire transfers are the exception here, both due to the slower turnaround and the steep $1,000 minimum, which prices out most casual bettors. The minimum deposit is otherwise $10 across the board.
We used 3 deposit methods to see how each one worked in practice. First, we started with a $200 PayPal deposit, which hit the Fanatics account almost immediately. A few days later, we added $100 through Apple Pay on an iPhone 15, and the payment cleared just as quickly, with Face ID handling the approval.
Near the end of the review, we made a $150 debit card deposit. The money posted instantly, although Fanatics required a one-time card verification on the first attempt. After that, later card deposits went through without any extra step.
PayPal, Apple Pay, and debit card deposits all showed as available funds right away. We didn’t run into any hold-ups, and Fanatics didn’t add deposit fees.
| Method | Minimum | Processing Time |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | $10 | Instant |
| Venmo | $10 | Instant |
| Debit Card | $10 | Instant |
| Apple Pay | $10 | Instant |
| Online Banking | $10 | Instant |
| Wire Transfer | $1,000 | Within 2 hours of receipt |
Withdrawal Methods
Fanatics' withdrawal options include PayPal, Venmo, debit card, online banking, wire transfer, and check. E-wallets should be the fastest route for most users, placing the platform right in line with competing fast payout sportsbooks, while paper checks take the longest. Note: Apple Pay only works for deposits, so you can’t use it to cash out. If you want to compare how these options stack up across the industry, you can check out the best betting payment methods.
For our review of Fanatics Sportsbook, we deposited through PayPal and used the same method for the first withdrawal. That payout arrived in 1 day and 6 hours, after Fanatics asked for a one-time ID check on the first request.
We also tested a debit-card withdrawal later in the review. That payout took 2 days and 14 hours to arrive.
The table below is based on the withdrawal times from our Fanatics account.
| Method | Minimum | Tested Payout Time |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | $5 | About a day (tested 1 day, 6 hours) |
| Venmo | $5 | About a day |
| Debit Card | $5 | Tested 2 days, 14 hours |
| Online Banking | $5 | 3–5 business days |
| Wire Transfer | $10,000 | Up to 24 banking hours |
| Check | $10 | 10–14 business days |
Fanatics Customer Support
Fanatics customer support is available 24/7 through live chat, email, and phone. Live chat is accessible within the app under the Account icon. Bettors can also email support@betfanatics.com, while the phone line at (800) 254-0320 takes voicemail requests for a callback.
Early on, we hopped into live chat to find out why our opening withdrawal hadn't gone through yet. An agent picked up in roughly 4 minutes and flagged a one-time ID check as the holdup. We cleared it on the spot, and the money was on its way before we closed the chat box.
We also emailed a FanCash question, and the reply took most of the day to arrive.
Fanatics vs. Competition
Fanatics Sportsbook Final Verdict
Fanatics is the only betting site where a losing Saturday quietly ends up stocking your closet. Every wager feeds FanCash, and FanCash can get you jerseys, hats, and collectibles. Add Fair Play refunds, Squad Bets, and partial cash out, and Fanatics comes across as its own thing rather than one more lookalike.
Some prop and alt-line hunters won't find the same depth here as they would at DraftKings or FanDuel, and those who prefer betting on a laptop will look elsewhere due to the lack of a desktop site. If you're on the hunt for the absolute best US sportsbook options for alternative markets, you may want to look at those giants. Still, for a casual bettor who likes a little merchandise swag with their wagers, Fanatics is a keeper.
How to Sign Up for Fanatics

Verify your email through the link Fanatics sends.

Other Fanatics Products
Fanatics goes beyond the sportsbook app with a broader range of betting and fan products.
Fanatics Casino is a real-money casino with slots, blackjack, roulette, and live dealer games. It’s available in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Fanatics Markets is the brand’s prediction market platform, built with Crypto.com. It has been available in 24 states since December 2025.
Fanatics ONE is the shared login and rewards account connecting Fanatics Sportsbook, Fanatics Casino, Fanatics.com, and FanCash.
Retail sportsbooks are also operated by Fanatics, with in-person counters and kiosks at stadiums, racetracks, and casinos across seven states.
Fanatics History & Background
Fanatics first built its name as the dominant US sports merchandise retailer before parlaying that brand into betting. The first Fanatics retail sportsbook opened in January 2023 at FedExField in Maryland. This was also the first sportsbook inside an NFL stadium. Online betting followed in Tennessee and Ohio in May.
The real turning point was the $225 million acquisition of PointsBet's US business in 2023, which handed Fanatics a ready-made license footprint. The rebuilt app rolled out state by state through early 2024 and moved former PointsBet accounts straight over.
Fanatics Betting & Gaming is led by CEO Matt King, formerly of FanDuel, with Tom Brady in the fold as an equity investor and brand face. By late 2024, its parent company, Fanatics Inc., was valued at approximately $31 billion.
The product range has grown since then. Fanatics launched its standalone casino in May 2025, teamed with OpenBet on geolocation and compliance tooling in December 2025. It rolled out Fanatics Markets with Crypto.com the same month. From the get-go, the brand has drawn on its league ties and a fan-first approach to stand out from the rest.
Review Methodology & Editorial Standards
The fastest way to learn a sportsbook is to bet at it, so that's exactly what we do. For every review, an analyst gets a $1,000 budget and two weeks to wager, parlay, cash out, and stress-test the app from the inside. By the time we sit down to write, we've already won, lost, and waited on payouts like any other bettor would.
That hands-on approach is the whole point. Our analysts have logged 21 years evaluating the safest online betting sites covering US sportsbooks, and we back the verdicts with hard data: timed payouts, recorded vig samples, and lines shopped side by side against the field. Want the receipts? Our review process and about pages lay it all out.
Responsible Gambling at Fanatics
Fanatics puts responsible gaming front and center, with tools built right into the app so that you can play on your own terms. From the account settings, you can set limits on deposits, time, and wagers, turn on reality checks, put your account on hold, or enroll in your state's self-exclusion program.
Fanatics also works with several outside groups on player protection. It partners with Birches Health for clinician referrals, stands as a founding member of ROGA, uses BetBlocker for free app blocking, and maintains active involvement as a platinum member of the National Council on Problem Gambling. If betting stops being fun, help is a call or text away at 1-800-GAMBLER or 1-800-MY-RESET, or via the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 for immediate crisis support.
At the end of the day, gambling should serve as entertainment, not a paycheck. Only stake what you can afford to lose, don't chase your losses, and step away when emotions get high. For more tools and guidance, swing by our Responsible Gambling Center.
