Our first prop bet of the day will take place in San Jose. We will look to the Winnipeg Jet’s Tomas Hertl for this prop. Hertl is one of the better players on the Sharks and has 57 points in 70 games. However, he does not shoot all too much. Hertl will finish with two or fewer shots today. Bet on the under.
Hertl is an efficient shooter and takes the correct shots. He scores over 12% of his shots. The center averages 2.36 shots per game. He does not shoot excessively and has shot the puck twice in his previous two games. He only shot once in each matchup (and had one goal).
Hertl will face a strong Winnipeg Jets squad in this game. The Jets only allow 2.81 goals per game and only gave up 24 shots to the Sharks in their first matchup this season. Winnipeg has a great defense and will limit Hert’s shot output to two or fewer. Bet on the under.

We will go to Boston for our second prop bet of the day. This matchup should be a good one, as the Predators are fighting for a Playoff spot. We will look to the Bruins’ Jake DeBrusk. DeBrusk is not a star on this Bruins’ squad and plays behind the likes of David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand. However, he is still a solid player and dangerous with the puck in his hand. DeBrusk will finish with a point today. Bet on the over.
DeBrusk comes into this game with 24 goals and 22 assists in 55 games. He is averaging a point in nearly 84% of his games this season but has not registered a point in his previous two games. That does not concern me, though. Debrusk rarely goes more than two games without a point and was on a four-game point streak before these two games. He will return to form in this matchup and secure a point. Bet on the over.

Our third prop bet of the day will take us to Raleigh, North Carolina. This prop will involve one of Lightning’s star players, Brayden Point. Point is having a heck of a season, but will finish with two or fewer shots today. Bet on the under.
Point is one of the most efficient shooters in the NHL. He has only taken 211 shots but has 45 goals. That makes for a shooting percentage of 21.3%. Few NHL players shoot more efficiently than that. I only say this to illustrate how Point does not shoot too much and still scores at a high clip. The 27-year-old has only shot three times in his previous two games and has only put up two shots in games against the Hurricanes this season. As good as Point is, the numbers do not point towards the over. Bet on the under.

Our fourth prop bet will be the safest one of the day. This prop involves the Columbus Blue Jackets and the New York Rangers. We will look to the Rangers’ Adam Fox for this bet. Fox is a premier defenseman in the NHL and won a Norris Trophy (the award given to the NHL’s top defenseman) in 2021. However, he is not as known for his offense. Fox does not score too much (he only has 11 goals) but is second on the Rangers with 54 assists. He will be facing a weak Columbus Blue Jackets team today and will finish with at least one assist. Bet on the over.
The Rangers are heavily favored to win this game. DraftKings has given them -380 odds on the moneyline. I only say this because Adam Fox performs significantly better when the Rangers win. The 25-year-old only has 15 assists in 30 Rangers’ losses but has 41 assists in 43 victories. Fox is averaging nearly an assist a game when the Rangers win, and they are expected to crush the Blue Jackets today. If that is not enough, I will add that Fox had an assist in his previous game against the Blue Jackets.
If you combine Fox’s general offensive skill with the Blue Jackets' lack of defense, it is easy to see why Fox will have at least one assist. Bet on the over.

Our final prop bet of the day will be the riskiest one. We will go to St. Louis, Missouri, for this bet. Neither of these teams are making the Playoffs, so this game will not be too interesting. However, there are some good props for it. This prop will involve the Blues’ Kasperi Kapanen. Kapanen joined the Blues in late February after spending most of the season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has only suited up for St. Louis 14 times this season but has performed well. I expect him to perform well again this game and finish with one point or more. Bet on the over.
Kapanen has seven goals and three assists in 14 games for the Blues. He is coming off a one-goal game against the Los Angeles Kings and had two goals and one assist in his game before that. Simply put, Kapanen has momentum, which he will take into this game.
Kapanen will face a Vancouver Canucks that allows 3.36 goals per game. The Canucks have allowed seven goals to the Blues in two games this season and will likely allow three or more this game. Since their defense struggles, Kapanen will have an ample amount of opportunities to get at least one point. Bet on the over.
