In the following steps, I’m focusing on BetMGM. However, the registration and deposit process for whichever casino you choose is similar. Licensed and regulated casinos must gather the same information about all their players, including verifying their identity, so this guide will help you no matter what site you go for. 

Type “BetMGM Casino” into the iOS App Store or Google Play search bar. Click “Download” and wait for the app to finish installing. Click “Open” to begin creating your new account. You can also visit BetMGM’s casino website to register on your desktop computer. 

3. Create Your New Casino Account with BetMGM 

Click “Register” at the top-right corner of your screen. 

Enter your email and click “Continue.”

Create a secure password following the guidelines listed in the screenshot.

4. Verify Your Identity and Personal Information

Enter your first and last name, click “Next”, and enter the last four digits of your Social Security number.

Type in your date of birth using MM-DD-YYYY format. Click “Next” again.

Enter your mobile phone number. It’s used to recover your casino username and password, if necessary.

Type in your address on your driver’s license or government ID card. If you enter it manually, add the state, city, and zip code where you reside. Otherwise, select your current address from the drop-down menu that pops up when you enter the first line of your address.

5. Add Funds to Your BetMGM Account Balance

When I deposited $25 using AMEX, the money appeared in my balance immediately. 

6. Request a Withdrawal Using American Express or Online Banking

While you can’t withdraw to an American Express credit card, BetMGM processes withdrawals back to debit cards within 24 hours upon request. Just select Account at the bottom-right corner of the screen and click Withdraw. Choose the deposit method on file and click “Withdraw” to verify the payout.

If you’re using a credit card to make deposits, you’ll need to use an alternative mode of payment like ACH, instant banking transfers, or any of their supported e-wallets.
