It’s episode 133 of Wise Kracks and we are talking all things Super Bowl LVII. Should you be betting on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs as an underdog or will Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles cap an impressive season with a win (and cover)? Your hosts Bill Krackomberger and Jon Orlando discuss everything from Super Bowl prop bets to where the public’s money is as we approach kickoff of The Big Game.

“Early on the overs, late on the unders.”

Bill lays out his betting plan, with much of his action not yet in play. The guys agree that there is more money to be made on the secondary markets than trying to beat the sharp lines when it comes to the spread and point total

“I love betting props … because of you.”

Jon got into prop betting because of Bill and now loves it. They discuss the best places to bet the 900+ available props for the Super Bowl and their favorites props from years past. William “The Refrigerator” Perry was responsible for sportsbooks losing big during the 1986 … are there any outliers to target this year? Should we be investing in the Patrick Mahomes discount as he deals with the injury? Neither Bill nor Jon hold back on their Super Bowl leans and what lines they are tracking as we near kickoff.

“I hate laying -170, but in this context, I bet it.”

Bill brings up a juiced-up prop before ranting about the danger of listening to those that lack experience in the betting space. The idea of teasing totals and spreads gets the Krackman’s blood boiling … you don’t want to finalize your betting card until you consider his thoughts on the market as a whole.

UFC 284: Makhachev vs Volkanovski

“Who is the other guy?”

It’s a legacy fight this weekend, but Jon doesn’t think Volkanovski is in a good spot, despite the immaculate resume. Can he talk Bill out of a big underdog that comes with a pedigree?
