After a massive Thanksgiving week in sports, Wise Kracks is back in action with a long list of results, reactions and picks to run down.
And they’re not alone. Bill and Jon welcome undefeated boxer Liam Paro and his trainer to the show to talk about his upcoming fight as part of the undercard on the much-anticipated Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury bout.
Watch the full episode for in-depth discussion of the most important upcoming games and bets including NFL, NCAAB, NCAAF and lots more.
In addition to that in-depth interview, Bill and Jon dig into NCAA Basketball including the recent huge game in Las Vegas between Duke and the top-ranked Gonzaga. It broke the record for the highest attendance for a basketball game in Vegas ever and it offered a great chance for Krack to explain why he generally takes a pass when it comes to betting on marquee college basketball games.
In College Football, the guys are getting ready for the Conference Championship games this weekend. Krack dives into his betting strategy for betting bowl games, what to focus on and what to watch out for and where there may be some hidden value if you know where to look.
Next up is NFL with the guys discussing how times have changed for teams like the Titans, Rams and Bills as the season heads down the home stretch. Bill and Jon talk through the most appealing bets on the sheet this week including NFL futures like Bill Belichick to win Coach of the Year at +1200 and Mac Jones for Rookie of the Year.
Australian boxer Liam Paro is 21-0 with 13 KOs and he’s currently training for the biggest fight of his life. It will be Paro’s first time fighting in the US and he’s up against another undefeated fighter in Puerto Rico’s Yomar Alamo. With a record of 20-0-1, Krack was quick to pull out an old favorite when he said, “Someone’s O has got to go.”
Paro is a rising star and according to him his match with Alamo is going to be a fireworks show. In addition to his stellar record, Paro has been working with an incredible team, including sparring with former World Champion Shakur Stevenson.
In this fascinating interview, Paro and his trainer Steve Rowlands explain what it’s been like training in the US to get ready for what is certainly the biggest fight of Paro’s career so far. “The quality here is the highest level out here,” said Rowlands. “Every kid you spar without here is good and you’ve got to be on your toes. This is what’s going to make Liam a much better fighter down the stretch.”
Paro and his team are also working with the likes of Devin Haney and Rances Barthelemy to get ready.
Paro and Rowlands also have some choice words about Jake Paul and how their opinion of him has changed since he first got in the ring. It’s clear that Paro is as hungry as it gets and the guys can’t wait to see him in action later this month. Check more of the latest boxing lines here!
