Cannonier vs Borralho Predictions - Middleweight Division

Number-12 ranked middleweight Caio Borralho looks to establish himself as a title contender. He will get his shot at a top-10 ranking this weekend when he takes on the number-five ranked and former title challenger Jared Cannonier.

Borralho, who holds black belts in BJJ and judo, has not been defeated since 2015. That is a streak that includes six straight wins under the UFC banner.

He most recently defeated Paul Craig by second-round knockout at UFC 301 this past May. The KO earned Borralho a performance bonus as well.

After losing his title fight against Israel Adesanya, Jared Cannonier earned back-to-back wins over Sean Strickland and Marvin Vettori. However his momentum was stalled in his most recent fight just two months ago, when he lost via fourth-round TKO at the hands of Nassourdine Imavov.

Despite being ranked in the middleweight top-five and having championship fight experience, Jared Cannonier is listed by oddsmakers as a +186 underdog against the younger, up-and-coming Caio Borralho.

Angela Hill vs Tabatha Ricci - Women’s Strawweight Division

4-1 in her last five and looking for her third straight win, number-nine ranked strawweight Angela Hill aims to keep her top-ten ranking when she takes on number-11 ranked Tabatha Ricci in this Saturday’s co-main event.

In her latest performance, which took place back in May, Angela Hill submitted Luana Pinheiro in the second-round -securing her a performance of the night bonus.

A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as judo, Tabatha Ricci recently bounced back from a loss - defeating Tecia Pennington by split-decision this past May.

In what is a rare occurrence for Hill; she will stand taller than her opponent and enjoy a three-inch reach advantage. Hill is listed as -118 to Tabatha Ricci’s -108.

Ryan Loder vs Robert Valentin - Middleweight TUF Finals

The latest season of the Ultimate Fight tournament show has come to its end, with middleweights Ryan Loder and Robert Valentin competing for a UFC contract in the finals this Saturday.

Loder, who has a wrestling-heavy style, has only one loss on his professional record and has previously fought for the United Fight League and Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat. He will have a one-inch reach advantage over his opponent.

Born in Switzerland, Robert Valentin impressed his coach on the show Alexa Grasso so much that she even pegged him to help corner other fighters on the team.

He is four-years younger than Loder and is currently riding a four-fight professional winning streak.

Neil Magny vs Michael Morales - Welterweight Division

Coming in at a whopping -1000 favorite, Michael Morales will be the biggest betting favorite on the main card when he takes on welterweight mainstay Neil Magny.

Morales, undefeated at 16-0, has four wins with the UFC - most recently defeating Jake Matthews by unanimous decision last November.

Neil Magny, who will stand three-inches taller and have a one-inch reach advantage, is 3-3 over his last six fights and is coming off of a third-round TKO win over Mike Malott that took place at UFC 297 this past January.

Magny, the number-12 ranked welterweight, is listed as a +560 underdog.

Edmen Shahbazyan vs Gerald Meerschaert - Middleweight Division

A once highly-touted middleweight prospect and training partner of Ronda Rousey, Edmen Shahbazyan has struggled as of late - holding a record of just 2-4 over his last six fights. However, at just 26-years-old, Shahbazyan has plenty of time to reach his full potential in the octagon.

After a third-round TKO loss against Anthony Hernandez, Shahbazyan bounced back with a big first-round KO win over A.J. Dobson is his most recent bout back in March.

In the main card kick-off fight, Shahbazyan takes on 53-fight veteran Gerald Meerschaert, a fighter who has gone 2-3 in his last five. Meerschaert also bounced back from a loss in his most recent fight by submitting Bryan Barberena in the second-round of their Fight Night bout in March.

Meerschaert will have a three-inch reach advantage, but Shahbazyan - ten years younger than his opponent - is listed as a sizeable -320 favourite to win.
