With a black belt in karate and a Master of Sport in hand-to-hand combat as well as submission fighting, it is no wonder Nikita Krylov is listed as the -170 favorite in this main event.

Krylov has won his last two in a row, both fights coming against former title challengers. He knocked out Alexander Gustafsson in the first round before earning a unanimous decision over Volkan Oezdemir at UFC 280 last October.

Ryan Spann has also won his last two fights and most recently defeated a former title challenger in Dominick Reyes, whom Spann knocked out in the first round of their UFC 281 bout. However, Spann did miss weight for that contest.

Spann will be taller than Krylov and have a four-inch reach advantage but it is expected that Krylov’s blend of striking and grappling will overwhelm his opponent.

Winning streaks are on the line as two Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts go toe-to-toe in this co-main event.

Andre Muniz is riding a nine-fight winning streak and is coming off of a unanimous decision win over hall-of-famer Uriah Faber that took place last July.

Brendan Allen has won three straight and earned a performance bonus for his last fight that saw him submit Krzysztof Jotko in the first-round last October.

Allen will stand one-inch taller but Muniz will have a three-inch reach advantage.

If anyone on this card is desperate for a win, it’s Augusto Sakai. The Brazilian fighter has now lost four straight - all by the finish. He was most recently defeated via second-round tKO by Sergey Spivak last August.

Don’Tale Mayes is coming off of a no-contest against Hamdy Abdelwahab but had won two in a row prior to the Abdelwahab fight at UFC 277 last July.

Mayes looks to be the safest underdog bet on the card. Listed as +120, he will stand taller and have a four-inch reach advantage.

Tatiana Suarez vs Montana De La Rose - Women’s Flyweight Division

It’s been more than three-years since undefeated fighter Tatiana Suarez has fought in the octagon, having been setback multiple times in her career due to injury.

The Ultimate Fighter strawweight tournament winner has five wins in the UFC. Her last fight was back in 2019 where defeated Nina Nunes by decision at UFC 238.

Montana De La Rosa is just 1-2-1 in her last four fights. She last fought in April 2022 and was on the losing end of a unanimous decision against Maycee Barber.

Despite De La Rosa being the taller, longer, and more active fighter, it is Tatiana Suarez that stands out as the biggest betting favorite on the main card - listed as -750 to win.

Mike Malott vs Yohan Lainesse - Welterweight Division

Mike Malott

TALE OF THE TAPE

Yohan Lainesse

After a first-round Contender Series win in 2021, Mike Malott made his UFC debut last April against Mickey Gall - defeating him via first-round TKO.

Yohan Lainesse lost his UFC debut last April but bounced back later in the year by defeating Darian Weeks via split decision at UFC 279.

Both men stand at an equal height but Lainesse will enjoy a three-inch reach advantage over Malott.
