We have reached an action-packed day four of the 2026 World Cup, with plenty of appealing FIFA World Cup props for sports bettors to get their teeth into. Four-time winners Germany are involved in one of the five matches taking place on June 14, while USA fans will take a particular interest in Australia vs Turkey in Group D.

A prop bet is a wager on a specific in-game event, rather than one which predicts which team will win the match. We have previewed today’s soccer by selecting our recommended World Cup player props and team picks for all five scheduled fixtures.

Australia vs. Turkey Prop Bets

Australia and Turkey go head-to-head in a game which will have implications for the USA’s chances of topping Group D.

Turkey 15 or More Shots (-140) at FanDuel

We begin our daily World Cup team props by backing Turkey to have 15 or more shots in its opening game against Australia, which kicks off an eventful fourth day of the tournament. This match offers a clash of styles, as an offense-minded Turkey faces an Australia side that will play a defensive brand of soccer.

Vincenzo Montella has always valued technical players and that is no different with the Turkey national team. He encourages his side to get the ball down and play attractive soccer. Turkey takes risks, but it struck the right balance at Euro 2024, where it advanced to the quarter-finals against the odds.

In its last four matches, Turkey has taken more than 15 shots on three occasions. In a strange way, Australia will not mind Turkey having certain attempts here, as long as they are from outside the box. Back Turkey to register at least 15 shots at -140 with FanDuel.

Germany vs. Curacao Prop Bets

The four-time world champions Germany face the smallest nation to have ever qualified for a World Cup in Curacao.

Germany to Win Both Halves (-200) at FanDuel

Germany usually goes into the World Cup as one of the favorites to go all the way, but that is not the case this time. After going out in the group stage in both 2018 and 2022, no one is taking anything for granted this summer. Yet the relative lack of pressure on the Nationalelf may ultimately serve it well.

Germany is unlikely to encounter too many difficulties on matchday one, when it faces one of four debutants at World Cup 2026. With a population of around 158,000, Curacao is the smallest nation to have ever participated in soccer’s greatest event. Qualifying was a tremendous achievement, and now Dick Advocaat’s side will aim to spring a few more surprises.

Unfortunately for Curacao, an upset is unlikely against Germany. We saw Mexico win both halves against South Africa in the opening game, and there is a good chance this encounter will be similarly one-sided. Tip Germany to win both halves at -200 with FanDuel.

Netherlands vs. Japan Prop Bets

The most intriguing encounter of the day sees the Netherlands face Japan in Dallas, Texas.

Over 2.5 Goals (-111) at FanDuel

The Netherlands and Japan will go head-to-head today in a game which will go a long way to deciding which team finishes top of Group F. On World Cup pedigree, one would rate three-time runners-up the Netherlands as the clear favorite over a Japan side which has never gone beyond the round of 16.

Yet the Samurai Blue is a dark horse this summer and it will have no fear against the Netherlands. The goals have not flowed in recent friendlies, with Japan beating each of Scotland, England and Iceland 1-0, but Hajime Moriyasu’s team is aiming to peak at the right time.

With two more group games to come after this one, the Netherlands and Japan have a safety net. That will incentivise both teams to target three points today, rather than settling for one. In three of the Dutch’s last five games, there have been at least three goals. Back over 2.5 against Japan at -111 with FanDuel.

Ivory Coast vs. Ecuador Prop Bets

Two potential World Cup dark horses face off today, as Ivory Coast and Ecuador compete for three points.

Ecuador to Score First (-110) at FanDuel

Germany is the favorite to finish top of Group E, leaving Ivory Coast and Ecuador to battle it out for second spot. Whichever team loses this game will be on the back foot immediately, so we will see measured approaches from both managers, neither of whom will want to take unnecessary risks on matchday one.

Ecuador’s main asset is its rock-solid backline, which conceded only five goals in 18 qualifiers in South America. The team is much weaker going forward than it is defensively, with the veteran center-forward Enner Valencia still Ecuador’s principal source of goals.

Yet this is a smart Ecuador side, adept at soaking up pressure and then springing forward at the optimum moment. Back it to score the first goal at -110 with FanDuel.

Sweden vs. Tunisia Prop Bets

Sweden and Tunisia begin their World Cup campaigns today in a crunch clash in Guadalupe

Viktor Gyokeres to Score Anytime (+165) at FanDuel

We round off our selection by turning our attention to World Cup player props, in this case the anytime scorer market. Many sports bettors will consider Alexander Isak a likely goal-getter today, but there are a few reasons why Viktor Gyokeres is the better choice.

For one, he arrives at the World Cup on the back of a better club campaign. Gyokeres was not always perfect for Arsenal, but he improved as the season wore on and ended up playing a key role in the team’s Premier League title triumph. Isak, on the other hand, missed most of 2025/26 with injury following his transfer from Newcastle United to Liverpool.

Gyokeres also has a better recent record for Sweden, having scored five goals in his last three appearances for the national team. Tip the Arsenal man to score any time at +165 with FanDuel.
