Germany usually goes into the World Cup as one of the favorites to go all the way, but that is not the case this time. After going out in the group stage in both 2018 and 2022, no one is taking anything for granted this summer. Yet the relative lack of pressure on the Nationalelf may ultimately serve it well.

Germany is unlikely to encounter too many difficulties on matchday one, when it faces one of four debutants at World Cup 2026. With a population of around 158,000, Curacao is the smallest nation to have ever participated in soccer’s greatest event. Netherlands vs. Japan Prop Bets

The most intriguing encounter of the day sees the Netherlands face Japan in Dallas, Texas.

The Netherlands and Japan will go head-to-head today in a game which will go a long way to deciding which team finishes top of Group F. On World Cup pedigree, one would rate three-time runners-up the Netherlands as the clear favorite over a Japan side which has never gone beyond the round of 16.
