FIFA World Cup Props Today: Monday, 29 June - Round of 32

The first full day of knockout phase action awaits, and we have chosen four FIFA World Cup props that bring extra spice to today’s round of 32 matches. Brazil, Germany and the Netherlands all return to the soccer field, but it would be a mistake to assume those three teams will go through easily.

A prop bet is a wager on a specific event within a game rather than the final result. Here are our top World Cup player props and team picks for today's action in North America, as the knockout phase gets properly started after yesterday’s solitary game.

World Cup Prop Bets 2026 06 29 Vinicius Junior Brazil

Brazil vs. Japan

Five-time World Cup winner Brazil takes on a Japan side that has never won a knockout game.

Both Teams to Score (-118) at DraftKings

With eight third-place teams advancing to the knockout phase of the World Cup for the first time, Brazil and Japan will both be a little disappointed that they have drawn each other in the round of 32. This is a more difficult tie than either team would have hoped for at this relatively early stage of proceedings, but for the neutrals this promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the next few days.

Brazil is the favorite to triumph. It has more individual quality at its disposal, plus a much richer World Cup pedigree. After a slow start to the tournament in the form of a 1-1 tie with Morocco, Brazil caught fire in its last outing, a 3-0 victory over Scotland. Matheus Cunha, Vinicius Junior and Rayan all impressed in the offense, so the Japan defense will have its work cut out today.

But Japan is more than capable of causing Brazil problems too. It won the last meeting between these two teams, triumphing 3-2 in Tokyo last October. Japan scored in each of its three Group C games and its quick, incisive soccer will ask questions of Brazil in midfield and defense, where it struggled against Morocco. Choose both teams to score at -118 with DraftKings.

Vinicius Junior to Score Anytime (+170) at DraftKings

We now turn our attention to the soccer player props markets, namely the one where punters can tip an individual player to find the back of the net. Our choice for the first World Cup game of the day is Vinicius Junior, who showed his quality throughout the group stage. Japan’s defense will have a tough time keeping the Real Madrid man quiet.

Vinicius’ quality has never been in doubt, but he arrived at this World Cup with something to prove with the national team. His first 49 appearances for Brazil produced just 10 goals, an underwhelming tally for someone with his talent. But Vinicius scored four times in the group stage to help Brazil reach the last 32. Not for the time, former Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is getting the best out of the forward.

Ancelotti has built his frontline around Vinicius. Matheus Cunha’s inclusion in the XI is partly because he tracks back on the left, allowing Vinicius to stay in an advanced position when his team is defending. Select Brazil’s No.7 to score any time at +170 with DraftKings.

Germany vs. Paraguay

Germany continues its World Cup campaign with a last-32 game against Paraguay.

Second Half Higher Scoring (+105) at DraftKings

The next pick from our selection of daily World Cup team props comes from Germany vs Paraguay. The Nationalelf finished first in Group E with a return of six points from nine, with a 2-1 defeat by Ecuador on matchday three taking the shine off their overall performance in the group stage, which saw Germany beat Curacao 7-1 and Ivory Coast 2-1.

However, Germany will play with much more intensity here than they managed in a meeting with Ecuador which mattered little to Julian Nagelsmann’s side. It will not necessarily find it easy to break down a Paraguay team which kept two clean sheets in Group D, but Germany’s superior quality will shine through eventually. Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz will be particularly important given their guile and craft in the final third.

There is a good chance it will be a slog, though, with Paraguay capable of frustrating Germany in the first half in particular. Gustavo Alfaro will be desperate to get to half-time with the score level, while Nagelsmann will encourage his team to be patient if it does not make the early breakthrough. Go for the second half to be higher scoring than the first at +105 with DraftKings

Netherlands vs. Morocco

The Netherlands takes on Morocco in another intriguing clash in the round of 32.

Tie at Half-time (+110) at DraftKings

Just like Brazil vs Japan, this is another balanced tie in the round of 32. Again, neither the Netherlands nor Morocco will be thrilled with how the bracket turned out, but there is no point complaining now. It is time to get down to business, with only one of these two teams able to advance to the round of 16.

Morocco is not to be underestimated. It finished fourth at World Cup 2022 and reached the Africa Cup of Nations final earlier this year. Remarkably, it is on a 31-match unbeaten streak and has not lost to a European nation since a 2-1 defeat by Croatia in the third-place play-off in Qatar four years ago.

It also held its own against Brazil in the group stage, and was actually the better team for large parts of that clash with the Selecao. That game was tied at both half-time and full-time, and we do not think there will be anything separating the Netherlands and Morocco with 45 minutes on the clock today. Pick a tie at half-time at +110 with DraftKings.
