Best MLB Home Run Props Today: Hitters Poised to Mash Off Vulnerable Pitchers
It’s never too early in the season to be reminded that pitchers are just as important a factor when making home run props as the hitter. For Tuesday, we’ve tried to not just target hitters who are off to a fast start but look for pitchers who might be vulnerable against them. That’s led us to four hitters we think will go deep.

Jake Burger Anytime Home Run (+400) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Burger might have the best value of any home run prop available on Tuesday. He’s off to a scorching-hot start, going 8 for 17 over his first four games of the season. Burger already has three multi-hit games, as well as two home runs and a double.
The pitching matchup he faces on Tuesday almost doesn’t matter, although it should be a favorable one. Burger is 3 for 7 with a home run in his career against Baltimore’s Zach Eflin. Keep in mind that Eflin posted a 5.93 ERA last year before undergoing season-ending back surgery. He also gave up 18 home runs in just 71.1 innings, potentially making him vulnerable in his first start of 2026.

Yordan Alvarez Anytime Home Run (+360) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Alvarez is always a home run threat, but now is a good time to strike while the iron is hot. He went deep on Monday for his second home run of the season in just five games. Overall, Alvarez is 6 for 18 on the young season, with three of those six hits going for extra bases.
Tuesday, he’ll benefit from facing Boston’s Brayan Bello. In limited at-bats against him, Alvarez is 3 for 5 with a home run in his career when facing Bello. While he’s coming off a strong season, Bello isn’t immune to the long ball, so a red-hot Alvarez could give him trouble.

Willy Adames Anytime Home Run (+390) at FanDuel Sportsbook
German Marquez gets the start for San Diego against Adames and the Giants on Tuesday. He’s hoping that getting out of Colorado will help him. While pitching for the Rockies in 2025, Marquez had a 6.70 ERA and gave up 23 home runs in 126.1 innings. Most of those home runs actually came on the road, so he’s been prone to giving up home runs everywhere.
Adames is the ideal hitter to take advantage of that. In 11 career at-bats against Marquez, Adames has four hits, three of which are home runs. While Adames is off to a slow start, he does have hits in back-to-back games, and his history against a homer-prone pitcher like Marquez is hard to ignore.

Riley Greene Anytime Home Run (+330) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Greene is off to a slow start in 2026, although his two hits on Monday could be a sign that he’s coming around. This is a player who had 36 home runs last season, so it’s just a matter of time until the home runs start coming. Plus, Greene is 2 for 3 with a double and a home run in his career against Brandon Pfaadt, who starts for the Diamondbacks.
Keep in mind that Pfaadt gave up 26 home runs last season, which was among the most in the big leagues. His 5.25 ERA in 2025 is also a sign that he could be vulnerable against Greene and a deep Detroit lineup. If he gives up a long ball on Tuesday, Greene is the best bet to take Pfaadt deep.
