This matchup features two of the hottest offenses in the league. These teams are in the top five of the league in batting average, slugging percentage, and OPS. With a shaky pitching matchup, expect these bats to shine this afternoon.

Carlos Rodon will be on the mound for the Yankees tonight. After looking incredible against the Brewers, the veteran gave up four runs over six innings against the D-Backs. That won’t improve in the lefty’s first road start of the season. Rodon was hit hard when outside of Yankee Stadium last season, finishing the season with a 4.69 ERA and .261 opponent batting average.

Tigers fans were excited to see starter Casey Mize dominate the Mariners at the start of his first season, but he will face a very different test today in the Yankees. New York crushed him last season, scoring five runs on nine hits over 5 ⅓ innings. Expect to see a similar result play out this afternoon.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (9:40 PM, EST)

Zac Gallen made one of the most impressive starts we have seen in this young season. After struggling in his first start, he bounced back to blank the Yankees over 6 ⅔ innings while striking out 13. New York’s lineup has been cruising opposing pitching but was stumped by the ace. 

The Orioles' offensive numbers are impressive, but a few high-scoring games inflate them. Consistency has been a significant issue, leading them to a disappointing 4-6 start. As dangerous as this lineup is, we are rolling with a red-hot Gallen tonight.

Zach Eflin thrived after the Orioles acquired him last season. He pitched at an elite level in 2024 and has already delivered two quality starts in 2025. He can help keep this game close but can’t help the offense drive in runs.

Cincinnati Reds vs. San Francisco Giants (9:45 PM, EST)

The Giants are one of the hottest teams in baseball and will have their ace on the mound tonight in Logan Webb. The 28-year-old is coming off an impressive road start where he held the Astros to one run over seven innings. He’ll be making his first home start of the season, and we expect to see big things.

Webb will be facing a Reds team struggling to generate runs. Elly De La Cruz and TJ Friedl have gotten off to solid starts, but the rest of the lineup is struggling. Things won’t be turning around for them with Webb on the mound tonight.
