Peralta has bounced back from a shaky 2024 campaign to become one of the top pitchers in the NL this season. While he isn’t going very deep into games, he has only allowed six runs over his previous four starts (2.61 ERA). We expect him to keep that momentum rolling at home, where he is 3-0 with a .075 ERA and .186 OBA.

The Red Sox will send Brayan Bello (2-1, 4.08 ERA, 1.70 WHIP) out to start this afternoon’s game. The 26-year-old has been mired in a slump over his last three starts, going 0-1 with a 7.62 ERA and 2.31 WHIP. He will struggle again tonight against a Brewers lineup that has been heating up at the plate.

Minnesota Twins vs. Tampa Bay Rays (1:10 PM EST)

The Rays have been one of the hottest teams in baseball over the last couple of weeks and will add another victory tonight.

We like the Rays for two reasons. The first is that the Twins are batting .168 over the last week. They are struggling up and down the lineup, and will struggle to produce against Drew Rasmussen (3-4, 2.60 ERA, 1.00 WHIP), who comes into this game riding a 12-inning scoreless streak. 

The other reason we love this bet is the Tampa lineup. Brandon Lowe and Junior Caminero have caught fire while Josh Lowe is settling in after a long stint on the IL. While they’ll be facing Pablo Lopez (4-2, 2.31 ERA, 0.97 WHIP) and a very talented Minnesota bullpen, the Rays' lineup will be able to out-produce the Twins today.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (3:40 PM EST)

Diamondbacks ace Zac Gallen (3-6, 5.25 ERA, 1.36 WHIP) has not had a good season and has been a liability over his last three starts. He is 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA and 1.77 WHIP during that span as he continues to struggle with his control.

The only reason we are willing to roll the dice on Pittsburgh is that Paul Skenes (3-5, 2.36 ERA, 0.95 WHIP). He has been great all season and has allowed just three runs over their last 20 innings. As good as the D-backs have been at the plate this season, Skenes is capable of shutting them down for 7-8 innings, leading to us taking the extra value to back the Buccos tonight.
