Red Sox vs. Blue Jays (4:10 PM, EST)
Red Sox Under 4.5 Runs (-130) at Caesars Sportsbook
The Red Sox struck out 13 times yesterday. They continue to hit into double plays and are reverting to a worse version of the offense we saw in Texas to open the season.
They have scored four runs in three games against the Blue Jays, and the cold weather has negatively impacted the team. Now, they have to face Chris Bassitt, who was good against Baltimore and fantastic against the Mets.
He's coming off 6.2 innings and shutout baseball, where he allowed four hits and struck out nine against the Mets. Once it gets to Toronto's bullpen, I'm more confident Boston isn't going to hit because they have been stoned by every single reliever in this series.

Royals vs. Twins (2:10 PM, EST)
Royals Moneyline (-120) at Caesars Sportsbook
Bailey Ober is coming off a strong game against Houston, where he gave up one run in four innings. He got rocked in his first start against St. Louis, allowing eight runs in 2.2 innings.
Ober should be solid, and when he is on, I like him a lot more than Michael Wacha, who will pitch for the Royals.
However, the Twins offense has been very bad so far this season, and the Royals do the little things right.
Kansas City's team OBP is .300 compared to Minnesota's .264. Minnesota is just 3-7 in day games, and its pitching staff has been significantly worse than Kansas City's. If Wacha can be decent in this game and turn it over to the bullpen, I see a low-scoring affair that Kansas City pulls out late at home.

White Sox vs. Guardians (1:10 PM, EST)
White Sox +1.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook
The White Sox have covered +1.5 in their past three games and are going for the cover sweep against the Guardians.
Chicago has scored 32 runs, and Cleveland has 35. The Guardians have only five more hits and a worse statistical pitching staff. Chicago's opponent average is .217, compared to Cleveland's .267.
Both pitchers are hard to trust in this game between Jonathan Cannon and Gavin Williams, but the White Sox have been hot against the spread, and statistically, they should be better than a 2-9 team.
Chicago has struggled to finish games, which makes sense. They’re a young team where a lot of things have gone wrong. Once they learn how to win, their record will be better.
Yet, they’re keeping games close, and that’s all they must do on Thursday.
