The New York Yankees are the current favorites to win the American League East, and if they remain healthy, they will likely secure the division title. New York has underperformed in 2025, yet they still hold a two-game lead in the AL East. 

Carlos Carrasco will pitch for the Yankees, and he is 2-1 with a 6.53 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP. He hasn’t been great this season, but neither has his opponent, Jose Berrios.

Berrios is 1-1 with a 5.02 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP. He has walked 13 batters in 28.2 innings, and this could be his downfall against New York. 

The Yankees have an elite offense, led by Aaron Judge. Judge is already a heavy favorite to win the American League MVP, as he hasn’t slowed down from last season. 

Judge is batting .415 with seven home runs and 26 RBIs. The Blue Jays will try to pitch around him, but I don’t think they will have much success. 

Toronto is 4-8 on the road, while the Yankees are 8-4 at home.

Mets vs. Nationals (6:45 PM, EST)

Mets Moneyline (-186) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The New York Mets have won seven games in a row and hold an 18-7 record. They lead the National League East and look like a legitimate contender to win a championship. 

The Mets have an excellent price for a parlay at -186, considering they have Kodai Senga on the mound. Senga is 3-1 with a 0.79 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP. 

He doesn’t have excellent strikeout ability, but he has allowed just one home run in 22.2 innings. Jake Irvin will throw for the Nationals, and he is 2-0 with a 3.68 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP. 

He has allowed 24 hits in 29.1 innings and has been solid, but the Mets' offensive strength will be too much to handle.

Orioles vs. Tigers (6:40 PM, EST)

He has allowed just 16 hits in 24.1 innings of work. Mize is much better than Brandon Young of the Orioles, who has been bad. 

Baltimore’s entire roster has underperformed this season, but their pitching has been terrible. Young has a 6.75 ERA with a 2.5 WHIP. 

He only has four innings on the mound, but we have enough evidence to see a trend in how he operates. I’ll take one of the best teams in the American League.
