Saturday’s prop bets are all about hitters. We have five hitter props, including three with plus-odds. While we’re targeting a couple of star players, most of our props revolve around players who might be a little surprising. However, we promise that these bets make all the sense in the world.
Another thing that makes sense is using bet365 Sportsbook. At bet 365, you can always find a huge selection of MLB props with some of the best odds available. If you don’t have a bet365 account, you can sign up for one and receive either $150 in bonus bets or a safety net of up to $1,000 on your first wager.

With Jake Fraley on the IL, Benson is getting a chance to play regularly. He’s making the most of his opportunity, going 12 for 32 (.375) with three doubles and five home runs since being recalled earlier this month. Of course, since he’s still an unproven player, we’re getting rather favorable odds for him to get just one hit. The Kicker is that he has 10 career at-bats against Chicago starter Colin Read more, going 5 for 10 with three extra-base hits against him. All of that adds up to a ton of value to Benson getting one measly hit on Saturday.
Hoerner is easy to overlook, but when the Cubs are facing a left-handed starter, he’s worth considering for prop bets. Chicago’s second baseman is hitting .368 with an OPS of .954 against southpaws this season. After going 3 for 5 with two doubles on Friday, Hoerner is also in the midst of a hot streak. Over his last seven games, he has five multi-hit games and five doubles. In limited at-bats against lefty Andrew Abbott, who starts for the Reds, Hoerner is 2 for 5 with a pair of doubles. Therefore, all signs point to Horner having another day with multiple bases.

Bellinger was rested on Friday night, so he should be eager to hit at Coors Field on Saturday. Surprisingly, he’s been more productive against left-handed pitching this year, batting .394 with an OPS of 1.103 against southpaws. That’s been a common trend for Bellinger in recent years, but he’s crushing lefties this year. He also has a strong track record against lefty Kyle Freeland, going 11 for 32 (.344) with six extra-base hits. Freeland has a 5.68 ERA, so a hitter who hits lefties like Bellinger should tee off against him. Even if Bellinger doesn’t get an extra-base hit in spacious Coors Field, he has six multiple-hit games in his last 12 games, so he has multiple paths to go over 1.5 total bases.

Most fans may not know Aranda, who has been with the Rays for a few seasons but has already set a career high for games played in a season. He’s also batting .306 with 15 extra-base hits and 24 RBI in just 45 games. Aranda is also 5 for 10 with three home runs in his career against Toronto starter Jose Berrios. That’s a big reason why we were drawn to this bet. It also helps that Arnada has gone over 1.5 hits/runs/RBI in three of the four games he’s started over the past week. While not an everyday player, Aranda often hits in the middle of Tampa’s order, giving him opportunities to score runs and collect RBI. Given the season he’s having and his success against Berrios, Aranda is an overlooked but lucrative player to target.

It’s a little surprising to get plus-odds for Ohtani with this bet. To be fair, he’s just 1 for 9 with no extra-base hits over his last two games. Ohtani and the Dodgers are also facing lefty David Peterson on Saturday. However, Ohtani has been incredible against lefties this year, batting .364 with an OPS of .997. He’s also 5 for 10 in his career against Peterson, so we don’t expect the lefty-on-lefty matchup to be an issue. If Ohtani fails to collect multiple bases on Saturday, it would be the first time he’s failed to do so in three straight games in nearly a month. With 16 extra-base hits in May, we’re confident that Ohtani can prevent that from happening.
