My Pick: Joc Pederson to hit a Home Run (+300 at FanDuel)

The San Francisco Giants have a great chance to get back into the .500% by finishing out the road series versus the Chicago White Sox strong. The Giants have had a successful batting series against the White Sox that have allowed 32 runs this season (10th in the AL) and 10 home runs (14th in the AL).

If there is one player that looks to benefit from this favorable matchup; it is Giants outfielder/designated hitter Joc Pederson. In the 12-3 win over the White Sox on Monday, April 3, the Giants hit seven home runs with six of them being different players, including Pederson. The following game in the 7-3 loss, Pederson had one hit, two RBIs, three walks, and struck out three times.

A bounce-back game for Pederson at the plate would bring some much-needed momentum and push for consistency. Pederson can accomplish this by accounting for his third home run of the season.

San Diego Padres vs Atlanta Braves

My Pick: Matt Olson to Record 2RBIs (+490 at FanDuel)

Thursday starts the highly anticipated regular season series between the San Diego Padres (3-3) and the Atlanta Braves (5-1) which could be an early preview to the NLCS. FanDuel projects this game to be around eight runs between these two talented batting teams.

There will be several players that will have a serious impact on getting runs on the scoreboard, but one will include RBIs. Braves first baseman Matt Olson has been a productive player this season, much like he has last season, in accounting for RBIs. In six games this season, Olson has accounted for seven RBIs, among the top 18 leading players in the league. Last year, he accumulated 103 RBIs which was ranked among the top eight players in the league.

Olson has a great chance to get the offensive rhythm for the Braves going by getting his teammates to score.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Arizona Diamondbacks

My Pick: Freddie Freeman to Record a Hit (-440 at FanDuel)

These odds should be one of the biggest opportunities to earn some winnings on Thursday. The Los Angeles Dodgers have accounted for 49 hits, sixth in the NL. Two of the leading hitters for the Dodgers are catcher Will Smith and first baseman Freddie Freeman with eight. Freeman has the second-highest batting average on the team after Smith at .381.

The Diamondbacks have allowed 47 hits this season, which is seventh in the NL. Merrill Kelly is set to start as a pitcher for the Diamondbacks against the Dodgers. In 3.1 innings pitched, Kelly has allowed three hits and four walks. A patient and efficient batter like Freeman should have no problems getting a hit.
