My Pick - Christopher Morel Batter Prop Hits O 0.5 (-135 @DraftKings Sportsbook)

Our first prop bet of the day will come from the Cincinnati Reds vs Chicago Cubs matchup. These teams have similar records and are both sitting below. 500, so this will not be a particularly exciting game. We will look at the Cubs’ Christopher Morel for this prop. Morel went without a hit in his previous game but has been on a tear to start the season. He will have at least one hit today. Bet on the over.

Morel has only played in 14 games this year and has a hit in all but one game. He has been an absolute animal at the plate and is showing off his power swing. He only hit 16 home runs in 113 games last season but has nine in 14 games this year. The outfielder does not walk a lot but gets a ton of hits and has a .333 average. He will face the hard-throwing Hunter Greene today. Greene has given up ten earned runs in his last two starts, so Morel will have a few solid opportunities to get at least a single. My Pick - Jon Gray Pitcher Props O 2.5 Runs (-110 @DraftKings Sportsbook)

We will go from Chicago to Baltimore for our second prop bet of the day. This will be an intense matchup. The Rangers are off to their best start in years and sit atop the AL West, and the Orioles are sitting comfortably in the first Wild Card spot. These are two of the top ten teams in baseball, so I would highly recommend watching this game. Jon Gray will be the subject of this prop. Gray has been an MLB starter since 2015 but he has never been a fantastic pitcher. He has had some good seasons but has never blown away the competition. With that being said, he is off to a great start this year. He will have a strong outing today but give up three runs in the process. Bet on the over.

Gray has only given up two earned runs in his last three starts, but they have all been against weaker opponents. He will have a much tougher go of it today against the surging Orioles. Baltimore is averaging 6.2 runs per game over their last five games and 5.14 runs per game this year. Their lineup has six-seven dangerous hitters on any given night, so they should be able to get three runs off Gray. Bet on the over.

San Diego Padres vs New York Yankees

My Pick - Joe Musgrove Pitchers Prop Outs Recorded U 17.5 (-115 @DraftKings Sportsbook)

We are one to our final prop bet of the day. This bet will take place in the Bronx. The Padres and Yankees rarely face each other, so this will be a game to watch. The Padres are incredibly talented but have not been able to put it together this season. They are sitting four games below .500 and are yet to go on a winning streak this year. On the other side, the Yankees are beginning to put it together and sitting in a Wild Card spot. Joe Musgrove will be the subject of this prop. Musgrove dominated on the mound last season but has been a shell of himself this year. He will not make it past the sixth inning. Bet on the under.

Musgrove comes into this game with a 1-2 record, 6.75 ERA, and 1.58 WHIP. He has given up four earned runs in his previous two starts and is yet to pitch a full six innings. The 30-year-old is not being pulled due to a pitch count. However, he is being pulled because he is approaching 100 pitches in the sixth inning. He is slowing down on the mound later in the game, so the Padres go to the bullpen. Musgrove will face a Yankees team averaging nearly five runs a game over their last games.
