Best NRFI Bets Today June 21

Dylan Cease has struggled in the first half of the season, but he needs to get back on track. He has a favorable matchup on Saturday.

Caesars Sportsbook offers bettors plenty of bonuses on weekends for Major League Baseball. New customers can get ten 100% profit boosts when they use code WSNDYW and bet $1 on the platform.

Royals vs. Padres - Noah Cameron vs. Dylan Cease (7:15 PM, EST)

Under 0.5 Run (-135) at Caesars Sportsbook

Kansas City squares off against San Diego on Saturday and runs should be hard to find. Noah Cameron will get the start for the Royals against Dylan Cease and the Padres.

Cameron has been impressive this season rocking a 1.91 ERA in 42.1 innings. He has been one of the more reliable pitchers in Kansas City and I think he will come up big in this matchup.

Cease has been quite the opposite in 2025, with a 2-6 record and a 4.69 ERA. The best part of Cease’s arsenal is his strikeouts, as he has fanned 105 batters in 80.2 innings.

It’s always good to select a NRFI wager when strikeout pitchers are throwing in case they get in trouble in the first inning. The Royals have struggled offensively, so Cease should cruise.

The Royals are hitting .248 as a club this season which is the 16th best in baseball. San Diego is also hitting .249, which is right in the middle of the league.

I am going to trust the pitchers with two average offenses in Saturday’s contest.

White Sox vs. Blue Jays - Aaron Civale vs. Jose Berrios (3:07 PM, EST)

Under 0.5 Run (-115) at Caesars Sportsbook

There isn’t a lot of value for NRFI wagers on Saturday. Chicago vs. Toronto is an underrated NRFI bet that I’m targeting.

Aaron Civale is 1-3 with a 4.67 ERA but he has been very solid in his last three starts. In these appearances, he has allowed just two earned runs in 15 innings.

Berrios comes into this game with a 2-3 record and a 3.81 ERA. He has struck out 76 batters and has a 1.29 WHIP.

The White Sox have the worst team batting average in baseball hitting .223 as a team, so Berrios should have no problem in the first inning.

Toronto’s offense is surging at the right time, so it will take a good outing from Civale. He is a veteran who knows how to attack dominant hitters.

The total for this game is set at 8.5 runs which is pretty standard, but it should stay under the line. I expect the offenses to start slow and the pitchers to stay ahead in the count on Friday.

Best YRFI Bets Today

  • Mariners vs. Cubs - Emerson Hancock vs. Cade Horton: Hancock has an ERA of almost 5 and both clubs have been swinging the bats well. There will be a ton of runs in this series with the wind blowing out in Chicago.

  • Diamondbacks vs. Rockies - Merrill Kelly vs. Carson Palmquist: Palmquist is 0-4 with a 7.76 ERA and Arizona should take advantage of this flaw in the first inning.
