Mariners vs. Yankees - Bryan Woo vs. Marcus Stroman (7:05 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-110) at Hard Rock Sportsbook
It’s always scary taking the NRFI when a game is played at Yankee Stadium, but two solid pitchers toe the rubber in this matchup. Bryan Woo will get the ball for Seattle against Marcus Stroman of New York.
There were 15 combined runs in yesterday’s matchup and I think it will be the exact opposite on Thursday. Woo has been unhittable in 2025 and Stroman should have success against an average Mariners offense.
Woo enters this game at 8-4 with a 2.77 ERA and he is one of the best NRFI pitchers in baseball. In 107.1 innings, he has allowed 33 earned runs and has fanned 104 batters which is just under one strikeout an inning.
Stroman doesn’t have the best numbers this season but he has proven himself over the past few years. He has only appeared in 19.1 innings in 2025, but this part of the schedule is when he usually comes into his own.
The Mariners are only hitting .247 as a club this season which is below league average. If Stroman stays ahead in the count he should have no problem posting a clean first inning.
The Yankees have a great offense, but they don't face a pitcher like Woo everyday. I trust in Woo’s ability to shut down New York’s offense.

Marlins vs. Reds - Cal Quantrill vs. Nick Lodolo (5:10 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-105) at Hard Rock Sportsbook
The next NRFI bet I like on Thursday’s slate is in the Reds vs. Marlins game. I’m fading both offenses because they have been average in 2025.
This pitching matchup is very intriguing t as Cal Quantrill will square off against Nick Lodolo. There have been many runs in the series, but this should change on Thursday.
Quantrill has 62 strikeouts in 76.2 innings and a 1.43 WHIP in 2025.
Lodolo enters this contest at 5-6 with a 3.58 ERA in 100.2 innings. He has 93 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.14 which is essential for strong first innings.
The Reds are hitting .244 as a club which is below average while the Marlins have turned it on as of late. Although, Lodolo should be prepared to shut down Miami’s offense on Thursday because the lineup isn’t stacked.
I trust the starting pitchers to have a clean first inning. Look for both arms to stay ahead in the count, leading to a successful bet.
