Best NRFI Bets Today: Kershaw and Crochet Take the Mound
Clayton Kershaw will face Garrett Crochet on Saturday in what should be a low-scoring game. The Red Sox aren’t hitting well, and they have their ace on the mound.

Phillies vs. Yankees - Ranger Suarez vs. Marcus Stroman (1:05 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-110) at Hard Rock Bet
Two of baseball’s powerhouses square off on Saturday with the Yankees and Phillies. Ranger Suarez will get the start for Philadelphia against Marcus Stroman and the Yankees.
Suarez has put up phenomenal numbers in 2025 as he is 7-4 with a 2.66 ERA. He has 82 strikeouts in 88 innings and a 1.16 WHIP.
Suarez is coming off a brutal start against the Angels and I think this is a perfect spot for him to get back on track.
Stroman hasn’t been great this year, but I still have faith in his pitch ability. In years past, he has shown us how he can be a top pitcher in the league and has the capability to challenge Philadelphia.
Stroman is known for turning it on against great competition and the Phillies fit the mold. Both offenses rank in the top ten in team batting average, so it’s critical for the starters to be locked in from the first pitch.
Yankee Stadium isn’t conducive to consistent NRFI betting, but I’ll gladly make the exception with Suarez and Stroman.

Dodgers vs. Red Sox - Clayton Kershaw vs. Garrett Crochet (7:15 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-120) at Hard Rock Bet
Clayton Kershaw will get the start for the Dodgers against Garrett Crochet and the Red Sox. Kershaw is one of the best pitchers in MLB history and Crochet is on a similar trajectory.
Kershaw enters this contest with a 4-1 record and a 3.27 ERA. He has been very good in his last three starts throwing 16.1 innings allowing just seven runs.
The Dodgers are thrilled to see Kershaw still performing at this level even though his strikeout numbers are down. I think Kershaw will have Boston’s lineup off-balance and we could potentially see a low scoring affair.
Crochet is 11-4 with a 2.19 ERA in 2025. In 135.1 innings, he has struck out 165 batters which is the most in baseball.
Crochet is one of the toughest matchups for any hitter in the league as he does a great job of keeping batters off balance. His over-powering fastball and great off-speed will be a huge factor in this matchup against the Dodgers.
Los Angeles has the fifth best offense in the league so Crochet will have to get off to a hot start. We don’t often get a great pitching matchup combined with an outstanding NRFI price of -120, so this bet is too hard to resist.

Best YRFI Bets Today
Braves vs. Rangers - Grant Holmes vs. Kumar Rocker: Two of the most inconsistent pitchers in MLB are on the mound and I think the bats will be ready from the jump. Rocker has an ERA of almost 6.00 so the Braves should find success.
Padres vs Cardinals - Randy Vasquez vs. Matthew Liberatore: Both offenses have been outstanding in 2025 and the pitchers have been awful.
