Best NRFI Bets Today: Division Series are Underway
The ALDS and NLDS begin on Saturday, with four games on tap. The opening games of playoff series typically feature the best pitchers, so there are plenty of NRFI bets to take on Saturday.
All four games have NRFI betting value. I’m taking the bet in three of the four matchups on Hard Rock Sportsbook.

Cubs vs. Brewers - Matthew Boyd vs. Freddy Peralta (3:00 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-140) at Hard Rock Sportsbook
Matthew Boyd will start for the Cubs, and he is 14-8 with a 3.21 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP. The pitcher started Game 1 against the Padres and went 4.1 innings, allowing just one run.
Boyd had a career resurgence this season with the Cubs, and he is a certified ace. Boyd has gotten hit by the Brewers, but he should have a clean first inning.
Freddy Peralta will throw for the Brewers, and he has been better than Boyd in 2025. Peralta is off his usual starting routine because the Brewers had a bye, but he had a 17-6 record and a 2.7 ERA in the regular season.

Yankees vs. Blue Jays - Luis Gil vs. Kevin Gausman (4:00 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-125) at Hard Rock Sportsbook
Kevin Gausman has been solid this season for the Blue Jays. Toronto hasn’t given him a lot of run support with his 10-11 record.
Nevertheless, the pitcher has a 1.06 WHIP, so he doesn’t allow baserunners consistently. The Yankees have a potent lineup, but Gausman is an experienced starter who can pitch around big batters.
Luis Gil is the wild card in this game. Since the Yankees played in the first round, they can’t throw their ace.
Gil is 4-1 with a 3.32 ERA and a 1.4 WHIP. The Blue Jays' bats should be slow early as they adjust to legitimate pitching once again after a week off.

Tigers vs. Mariners - Troy Melton vs. George Kirby (4:00 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-135) at Hard Rock Sportsbook
It’s tough to adjust to legitimate pitching after a week off, so the Mariners will have a challenge in the early innings of Saturday’s game against the Tigers.
The Mariners have numerous legitimate offensive players, which is concerning for a NRFI bet. Cal Raleigh is the best player of the group, and he has been awesome this season.
Raleigh should win the American League MVP this season, and he is the most significant risk for a NRFI in this contest.
Troy Melton will throw for the Tigers, and he has been solid in limited starts this season. The pitcher has a 2.76 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP in 2025.
George Kirby will throw for the Mariners, and he has been great at home for the Mariners with a 3.38 ERA. As long as Detroit can neutralize the power hitters for Seattle, the NRFI should be profitable.
