Guardians vs. Brewers - Parker Messick vs. Shane Drohan (12:10 PM EST)
Cleveland and Milwaukee open the day with a matchup that should be driven by the pitching.
Under 0.5 Run (-135) at DraftKings
Parker Messick has been excellent for the Guardians, posting a 6-3 record with a 2.68 ERA and 1.09 WHIP across 80.2 innings. The left-hander has given up only 63 hits while striking out 82 batters, consistently preventing opponents from putting together big innings.
Shane Drohan has also turned in solid results for Milwaukee. Through 42.2 innings, he owns a 3.59 ERA and 1.17 WHIP while allowing just 39 hits. The Brewers starter has paired that with 44 strikeouts and only three home runs allowed.
With both starters limiting hard contact and keeping traffic to a minimum, this game profiles well for a scoreless opening frame.

Blue Jays vs. Red Sox - Trey Yesavage vs. Sonny Gray (1:35 PM EST)
This matchup features two pitchers who have done a strong job preventing hitters from changing the game with one swing.
Under 0.5 Run (-135) at DraftKings
Trey Yesavage has continued to impress in his rookie campaign, carrying a 3.78 ERA through 47.2 innings. He has allowed only 35 hits and three home runs while striking out 47 batters. When hitters do make contact, it has generally been weak contact, which is exactly what bettors want to see when backing a NRFI.
Boston counters with Sonny Gray, who has quietly put together another excellent season. The veteran enters at 8-1 with a 3.03 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 62.1 innings.
The Red Sox have scored one run in two games, so the pitching combined with Boston’s bad offense create a favorable combination.

Orioles vs. Mariners - Shane Baz vs. Bryan Woo (4:10 PM EST)
The strongest pitching matchup of the afternoon may take place in Seattle.
Under 0.5 Run (-130) at DraftKings
Bryan Woo has been one of the more reliable pitchers in the American League this season. Across 82 innings, he owns a 1.04 WHIP while recording 79 strikeouts and issuing only 15 walks.
Shane Baz has shown flashes of dominance because of his powerful fastball. The right-hander has struck out 67 batters in 82 innings while limiting opponents to manageable damage for most of the season.
Both teams have enough power to be dangerous, but the starting pitching gives this matchup a strong chance to stay scoreless through the first inning.

Best YRFI Bet
White Sox vs. Yankees - Sean Burke vs. Ryan Weathers: Both pitchers have been vulnerable to the long ball this season, combining to allow 24 home runs. The Yankees still possess plenty of power throughout their lineup, and the White Sox should have opportunities against a pitcher carrying a 4.36 ERA. I'm expecting at least one team to break through early, making this my favorite YRFI play of the day.
