Home Run Picks for Tuesday, June 2

There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the players we’re locked in on. 

Nick Kurtz Anytime Home Run (+330) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Last year’s American League Rookie of the Year winner is having quite a sophomore season for the A’s. He ranks in the top-10 in OPS among all hitters, in part because of his 10 home runs. Kurtz is also in the midst of a hot streak, going 6 for 11 with two home runs during a three-game series against the Yankees this past weekend.

Of course, the main reason we’re targeting him on Tuesday is that the A’s are facing Jameson Taillon. On top of his 5.37 ERA, Taillon has allowed a league-high 19 home runs this season. While several other members of the A’s have faced and homered against Taillon before, Kurtz is still our pick despite never facing Taillon before. Left-handed hitters are slugging .584 against Taillon, and since Kurtz is the A’s best left-handed bat, he’s our pick.

Ketel Marte Anytime Home Run (+270) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Blue Jays dropped Eric Lauer after he pitched to a 5.95 ERA, yet the Dodgers picked him up and are sending him to the mound on Tuesday to face the Diamondbacks. In just 42.1 innings this season, the southpaw has allowed 12 home runs. Unless the Dodgers know the secret formula to Lauer not giving up home runs, we have to target one of Arizona’s hitters.

For what it’s worth, several Diamondbacks have a strong track record against Lauer, but we’ve picked out Marte. He’s 8 for 21 (.381) with two home runs in his career against Lauer. Marte also homered on Monday and offers much more power against left-handed pitchers, so this matchup suits him.

Brandon Lowe Anytime Home Run (+360) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Lowe has turned himself into a player to consider for a home run prop most days. He leads the Pirates with 14 home runs and typically doesn’t go too long between homers. While he’s not swinging the hottest bat in the big leagues at the moment, Tuesday’s matchup with Houston’s Mike Burrows favors Lowe.

Burrows has given up 13 home runs in 63.1 innings this season, so only four pitchers have given up more home runs in 2026. While he’s never faced Lowe or most members of the Pirates, he’s struggled the most against left-handed hitters, who are slugging .590 against him. Conversely, Lowe is slugging .595 against right-handed pitchers, against whom he’s hit 11 of his 14 home runs, so this matchup is a favorable one for him.

Liam Hicks Anytime Home Run (+710) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Marlins aren’t exactly a team filled with power hitters. But they’re facing Miles Mikolas on Tuesday, so it makes sense to target someone on Miami’s roster. Despite not giving up a home run in his last two starts, Mikolas has still given up 11 home runs this season in just 50.1 innings.

By far, Hicks has been Miami’s best power hitter this season. He’s 12 home runs are twice as many as any of his teammates. All but one of those 12 home runs have come against right-handed pitchers, so he should have some good swings against Mikolas, who has struggled a little more against left-handed hitters this year.
