Best MLB Home Run Predictions Today: Shea’s Slump Ends Tonight
Shea Langeliers’ 21 home runs have him on pace to set a new career record, despite scuffling at the plate over the last month. While his slump may scare some bettors off, we believe the stage is set for him to have a big day. We’ll share why below, along with two other home run predictions that we love.

Home Run Picks for Saturday, July 18
There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the three players we’re locked in on.
Andrew Benintendi Anytime Home Run (+460) at FanDuel Sportsbook
We are going way off the board for our first prediction. Andrew Benintendi is having another solid season for the White Sox and is on pace to hit 20+ home runs for the third consecutive season. While that isn’t enough to make him a popular home run prop bet most nights, tonight’s matchup has put him on our radar.
The reason why we’re going with the White Sox DH today is Jays’ starter Shane Bieber (0-1, 7.64 ERA, 2.04 WHIP). The veteran righty missed the first few months on the IL, and the rust has shown. His WHIP and ERA show he’s struggling to miss bats, as does the seven home runs he’s allowed over 17 ⅔ innings.
There are better power hitters in Chicago’s lineup, but Benintendi’s history against Bieber is too good to ignore. Over 21 meetings with the 2020 Cy Young winner, the DH is batting .524 with a 1.403 OPS and one home run. That’s good more than enough for us to take a long shot on Benintendi tonight.

TJ Rumfield Anytime Home Run (+480) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Rumfield has been making the most of his first opportunity to play at the MLB level. He earned the starting spot at first base, and has responded by batting .296 with 12 home runs and 47 RBIs. While his numbers are slightly better when at home, his play on the road shows his success isn’t limited to hitter-friendly Coors Field.
The left-handed hitter has struggled a bit when facing southpaws, but he has dominated righties. He’s batting .309 with a .928 OPS against those pitchers, accounting for 11 of his 12 home runs on the season.
Rumfield will see a right-handed pitcher on the mound tonight in the form of Rhett Lowder (3-6, 4.91 ERA, 1.54 WHIP). The 24-year-old struggled for much of the season, but has begun to thrive after the team began limiting him to 2-3 innings. However, he will make his first pro appearance at Coors Field, which could threaten to derail his current success.
Lowder leaving early won’t affect this prediction, as the Reds bullpen ranks in the bottom ten of the league in home runs (53) and ERA (4.67).

Shea Langeliers Anytime Home Run (+230) at FanDuel Sportsbook
The A’s catcher already has 21 home runs on the season, putting him on pace to easily surpass his career-high total of 31. However, the young star’s bat has cooled off as the summer heats up. He posted a .204 average in June, and a .183 average to open July. Fortunately for the A’s, those struggles haven’t stopped him from adding another seven home runs during the slump.
We like Langeliers' chances to add to his total tonight for two reasons.
The first is Washington starter Zack Littell (7-6, 4.90 ERA, 1.31 WHIP), who once again ranks in the top five of the league in home runs allowed. After allowing a whopping 36 long balls last season, the 30-year-old has already surrendered 23 in 2026. While he’s been better over his last four starts, he continues to surrender home runs.
The second reason is the Nationals’ bullpen, which is arguably the worst in baseball. Their 5.07 ERA is the fourth-worst in the MLB, while their 71 home runs allowed are 11 more than the next closest team. As a result, Shea will see bad pitching from start to finish today, making him an excellent home run prop bet.
