Home Run Picks for Tuesday, July 28

There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the players we’re locked in on. 

Kyle Stowers Anytime Home Run (+400) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Believe it or not, longtime ace Aaron Nola is tied for the second most home runs allowed in the big leagues this season. He’s given up 25 home runs this year, with left-handed hitters responsible for most of them, slugging .526 against him. The problem isn’t getting any better, with Nola allowing multiple home runs in six of his last eight starts.

The only challenge for Tuesday is that the Marlins don’t have a ton of left-handed power hitters. With 13 home runs on the season, Stowers is the best option despite being just 1 for 6 in his career against Nola. Stowers is 4 for 12 with a home run in his last three games, so he might be starting to heat up and should be able to take advantage of his matchup against Nola.

Ryan O’Hearn Anytime Home Run (+560) at FanDuel Sportsbook

For those who don’t pay attention to the Pirates, O’Hearn has quietly put together a strong 2026 season. He’s already tied his career high with 17 home runs, so his next long ball will set a new mark for him. O’Hearn is 4 for 9 with a home run over his last three games, so another home run could be coming soon.

Naturally, O’Hearn has done most of his damage against right-handed pitchers, slugging .513 against them. That makes him a perfect target against Brandon Pfaadt, who starts for Arizona against the Pirates on Tuesday. Left-handed hitters are responsible for seven of the eight home runs Pfaadt has allowed this season, which points toward O’Hearn having a good game against him.

Kody Clemens Anytime Home Run (+340) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Based on the odds Clemens is getting, oddsmakers have no doubt noticed the same trend we have. In his career, Clemens is 4 for 6 with three home runs against Seth Lugo, who starts against the Twins on Tuesday. That’s the definition of small sample size, but three home runs in six at-bats against the same pitcher is too enticing to ignore.

It helps that Lugo has frequently had trouble with the long ball this year, giving up 15 home runs. Clemens is also an often overlooked power hitter, mashing 18 home runs this season, with most of those coming off right-handed pitchers. He’s also in a good place right now, hitting five home runs in July and three extra-base hits in his last five games, putting Clemens in position to continue his success against Lugo.

Riley Greene Anytime Home Run (+320) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Greene has been easy to forget about this season. He has 15 home runs, which is nowhere close to the 36 he had last year. That’s made it easy to overlook him as a home run target. But with the Tigers facing Dean Kremer on Tuesday, Greene should be on the radar. 

In his career, Greene is a modest 2 for 7 against Kremer. However, Kremer has been dreadful when it comes to preventing the long ball this year. He’s made just six starts but has allowed 10 home runs in 32 innings of work. Left-handed hitters have seven of those home runs and are slugging .622 against Kremer. Greene is still Detroit’s best left-handed power hitter, so it’s worth taking a chance on him.
