Favorites to Win the 2019 Allied Steel Buildings 200

Christopher Bell

Once again, Christopher Bell is the early favorite.

Bell is one of the two previous winners at Dover to take the green flag this season.

The Joe Gibbs driver won the most recent race at the Monster Mile in dominant fashion.

His other result at Dover was a fourth place at last year’s Allied Steel Buildings 200.

Bell is currently second in the points standings with two wins, five top 5 and six top 10 finishes.

He also leads the Xfinity regulars with four stage wins.

Tyler Reddick

Reigning series champion Tyler Reddick is fresh off his first win of the season.

Reddick leads the standings, courtesy of six consecutive top 5 finishes.

The Richard Childress driver has only finished outside the top 10 once this season.

The driver of the #2 car has one top 5 in three series starts at Dover.

He scored a win at the Monster Mile in the Truck Series back in 2015.

Justin Allgaier

Justin Allgaier is the other previous winner at Dover taking part in this year’s spring race.

The JR Motorsports driver’s recent form at the Monster Mile has been impressive.

Allgaier has one win and a worst result of 11th in his past four starts at the track.

He currently sits fifth in points, also looking for the first win of the season.

The #7 has four top 10 finishes, with two stage victories.

Outside Picks for the 2019 Allied Steel Buildings 200

Coles Custer

Coles Custer’s record at Dover is enough to get him among the contenders.

The Stewart-Haas driver has two top 5 and three top 10 finishes in four starts.

Custer came home second last autumn, leading the race for 38 laps.

The driver of the #00 car is tied with Christopher Bell in wins this season.

Custer has five top 5 and six top 10 finishes in 2019.

Brandon Jones

If you are going for a real dark horse, then Brandon Jones is an option.

The Joe Gibbs driver is on a cold streak with four consecutive results outside the top 10.

Jones did have a good start to the season, however, scoring two consecutive top 5 and four top 10 finishes in the first five races.

The driver of the #19 car scored one pole-position and two top 10 results at Dover last season.

Austin Cindric

Another pick worth looking would be Austin Cindric.

The Team Penske driver scored two top 10 finishes at the Monster Mile during his rookie year.

Cindric also scored a top 5 in his only Truck Series start at the track.

The sophomore driver matched his career best with a second place at Richmond earlier this season.
