It is always fun to bet on these divisional rivalries because the players are heated up and seem to go the extra mile, this AFC North battle featuring two .500 teams hoping to surge ahead of the other with a win here, the Cincinnati Bengals traveling east to Baltimore to take on the Ravens in front of their raving hometown fans.
These two teams are about split against each other with the Ravens leading their all-time series, 27-25, a matchup of two playmaking QBs with different styles of play, including Cincy’s Joe Burrow who has a cannon arm and three top-notch receivers to target as well as Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson who has a solid arm and who can beat you with his quickness out of the pocket.
Watch for some key matchups here as the Bengals cover the spread in Baltimore in this game that should be close in score, including Cincinnati’s star LB Logan Wilson against the Ravens’ rush attack with J.K. Dobbins and Justice Hill in the backfield, plus be sure to check out the Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey versus the Bengals WR Ja’Maar Chase for some excitement.

These two teams are fond of the end zone, with the Baltimore Ravens the third highest scoring team so far this season averaging almost 30 points per game while the Cincinnati Bengals score almost 23 points per game, that total still less than what the oddsmakers are predicting so if these teams produce normally the under here is a solid bet.
How these defenses hold up and neutralize each other’s attacks will also play into the points total at the end of the game, and the Bengals defense allows 17.5 points per game while the Ravens defense allows 25 points per game, together still less than what this bet would allow so take the under again if you think these defenses are going to play their typical games here.
Make sure to also consider some of the serious injuries to the major players that could affect the outcome, including these players that are questionable to play on Sunday night – Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (chest), WR Rashod Bateman (foot), and OT Ronnie Staley (ankle) and Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ankle), TE Hayden Hurst (groin), and K Evan McPherson (groin).
Though the Baltimore Ravens defense needs some adjusting and their 0-2 home record so far this year is not encouraging, they will have a huge advantage as their fans are notoriously loud at all the right times against a Bengals team that this year is 1-1 on the road, two banged up rosters ready to beat an AFC North opponent.
For the Ravens, a major key to victory will be to get at Bengals QB Burrow who has been sacked 16 times this season by relying on a solid Baltimore defensive line that includes DE Calais Campbell and RUSH Odafe Oweh, and playmaking LB Patrick Queen, all part of a group that has posted 8 team sacks, helped by a secondary tied for the most picks in the NFL (7).
A key to a Bengals victory will be for Cincy’s D-line to figure out how to keep Ravens QB Jackson contained in the pocket, that scrambler sacked eight times this season and coming off a relatively bad Week 4 outing, one of his favorite targets TE Mark Andrews who has 24 catches for 260 yards and 3 TDs this season, a major reason his team should win this game outright.
