Breiden Fehoko Speaks on Shedeur, NFL Draft, Aaron Rodgers, and More
Former Los Angeles Chargers defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko joined our very own “Ride the Line” podcast with Grant Mitchell and Tanner Kern!
The trio discussed Fehoko’s viral tweet from April 15, which implied that Shedeur Sanders shouldn’t have had his jersey retired by the University of Colorado since Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow, his former college teammates, didn’t have their jerseys retired.
They transitioned over to the NFL Draft, where Fehoko unveiled his top five quarterbacks up for selection! Surprisingly, Jaxson Dart checked in at number one on his list, while Sanders fell all the way to FIVE!
Despite his hesitance, that sparked a conversation on how Sanders, the betting favorite to be drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and other rookie quarterbacks would settle in a Mike Tomlin-led locker room.
The former LSU national champion then broke down why a player like Jayden Daniels proved that playing “risk-free” football is so important for any player, much less a young quarterback transitioning to the top level.
Keeping it in the NFL Draft, Grant and Tanner got his thoughts on how you go about stopping a running back seemingly without flaws like Ashton Jeanty. If the latest swing in betting odds is any indication, Jeanty could be taken fourth or fifth during Thursday’s ceremony.
The show then closed out with some predictions from the crew on which teams would shock the NFL world this year.
Fehoko’s picks? The Minnesota Vikings (big J.J. McCarthy guy) and the New York Giants, potentially with top prospect Abdul Carter.
All of that, great stories from a great career, and much more on the newest episode of Ride the Line!
