NFL Winless Teams Odds 2024

NFL Winless Teams 2024: The Favorites

New England Patriots (+4900) at FanDuel

The Pats have the best chance of going winless in 2024, yet that chance is still only two percent, according to the betting odds. That said, they have a 36-year-old first-time head coach in charge of a 21-year-old rookie quarterback, which puts them in a precarious position. They also have a poor offensive line and limited offensive options, though their defense has enough talent to compete.

Carolina Panthers (+6000) at FanDuel

The Panthers had the worst record (2-15) in the NFL in 2023 and are looking to break out of that slump. They added Diontae Johnson to help bring the best out of rising second-year quarterback Bryce Young but also lost their best player in edge-rusher Brian Burns. The NFC South is one of the easiest divisions in the NFL, which will aid them in their pursuit of avoiding winlessness.

Denver Broncos (+6000) at FanDuel

The Broncos finished 2023 ranked 20th in scoring offense and 27th in scoring defense and also got substantially worse during the offseason. Their quarterback room is likely the worst in the league with Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham, and Zach Wilson all in line to see action at different points in the year, and they happen to be in a division with the best team in the NFL. Sean Payton was a highly-respected coach with the Saints but is yet to work his magic with Denver.

Tennessee Titans (+9000) at FanDuel

In theory, Tennessee shouldn’t be this high in odds, seeing as they spent big money during the offseason. Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard, and L’Jarius Sneed will all make immediate impacts, though the Titans still have a huge question mark at quarterback in the form of Will Levis. The rising sophomore QB will be instrumental in determining the success of a team that fired head coach Mike Vrabel during the offseason.

New York Giants (+10000) at FanDuel

Daniel Jones isn’t the guy for the Giants, yet he’s going to need to be. Saquon Barkley’s decision to skip town in free agency leaves the cupboard close to barren aside from rookie wideout Malik Nabers, who many believe could be a Pro Bowl-caliber player. New York’s defensive front is quietly one of the most underrated units in the league, but its secondary and linebacking corps are both mediocre.

NFL Winless Teams Odds 2024: Upset Watch

Las Vegas Raiders (+15000) at FanDuel

The NFL is a quarterback’s league, and the Raiders don’t have one. Gardner Minshew is an excellent backup but isn’t a dependable starter, and second-year QB Aidan O’Connell did not show enough to warrant belief that he is the long-term solution in Vegas. The unexpected retirement of Michael Gallup combined with the loss of Josh Jacobs also means this could be one of the worst offenses in the league.

Bet on Las Vegas Raiders (+15000) at FanDuel

Arizona Cardinals (+18000) at FanDuel

The Cardinals could easily have the worst defense in the NFL and are a question mark on offense. They ran the ball to great effect but have holes on the offensive line, and nobody seems to know what to think of Kyler Murray. Marvin Harrison Jr. will be a massive help but still plays a dependent position.

Bet on Arizona Cardinals (+18000) at FanDuel

My Pick: New England Patriots (+4900) at FanDuel

The Patriots’ defense is solid and has a couple of standouts in the form of Matthew Judon and Christian Gonzalez - but there’s no guarantee that they fulfill their potential with a rookie head coach at the helm. Drake Maye might have potential, but asking him to perform at a high level at 21 years old is a lot, and the rest of the team pales in comparison to the more talented teams in the NFL.
