It’s episode 131 of Wise Kracks and we are down to the Final Four of the NFL playoffs. That’s right, Championship week. After looking back at the Divisional Round, we take a look at the public’s love for the Cincinnati Bengals, the Championship market, the future of the massive quarterback contract, if Dak Prescott is a bust, and so much more.
Your hosts Bill Krackomberger and Jon Orlando welcome in George Carmona, a former Division I football player who now works with Gridiron Junkies and is a safe-proclaimed “Andy Reid-aloholic,”, to break down all things NFL Playoffs.
The guys address how to maximize value in betting on the Super Bowl right now: does it make more sense to bet the exact matchup market than an outright champion?
George wonders aloud about if the Buffalo Bills have put too much in the way of expectations on Josh Allen.
Bill discusses how sportsbooks did last weekend and continues to beat the drum for a Cincinnati Bengals prop that he’s been riding: “There’s a lot of little intricate moving parts. Do your research and you’ll find edges.” The discussion evolves into a soft props market for both this weekend and for the big game in February.

“It’s Brock Purdy’s time … to throw three interceptions.”
Carmona isn’t worried about the rookie’s win streak being extended in Philadelphia this weekend and Bill piles on with some early game props to consider in that game.
“The books are doomed if San Francisco wins it all and God protects the bookmakers”
With a banged-up Patrick Mahomes, The Krackman evaluates the line movement on the AFC Championship. What would the line be if the star quarterback was deemed 100% healthy? “Money is going to come in on Kansas City and I expect this to close around pick ’em.”
“Love that!”
George presents a +270 prop that Jon falls in love with while Bill discusses the value in line shopping when it comes to betting into the prop market this time of year.
“Any one of these teams can win this week. There’s secondary markets. Some are sucker bets, but pick your spots and there is value to be had.” Krack wins had a big weekend betting props across multiple sports and Bill feels good about it just being the start of a nice run to close out the NFL season.
Jon takes his victory lap after nailing both of the Main Event fights: “the fights that mattered and I felt good about, came through.”
