He’s back! There’s no more playing “Where’s Waldo?” with Bill Krackomberger as he joins Jon Orlando in the Vegas studio. Speaking of Vegas… The duo has a Vegas betting king joining them as this week’s special guest. Richie Baccellieri ran Caesars Sportsbook for years and has insight that very few have in the gambling space.

Bill and Jon also recap a series of very successful NFL Draft bets as Bill went 10-2 on the big day. It’s also a big day in California as the California Online Sports Betting Initiative backed by DraftKings, FanDuel and MGM has made its way to the November ballot. The guys discuss the importance of that and what it could mean for bettors in California.

Last but certainly not least, Bill and Jon discuss UFC 274 which is shaping up to be one of the best main cards in years. Featuring fights such as Charles Oliveira vs. Justin Gaethje, Rose Namajunas vs. Carla Esparza, and Michael Chandler vs Tony Ferguson, the card is sure to be exciting. Jon and Bill pick out some spots that you can try and get some action on.

Can the USFL Gain Betting Interest?

The general consensus around the USFL has been that the betting markets aren’t as active as many imagined they would be. In case you’re unaware of the USFL, the United States Football League consists of eight teams and has a broadcast deal with Fox Sports.

The league is not reactivation of the old league as no individuals from the original league are involved in the new formation of the USFL. Despite a fresh start, Bill doesn’t see a big interest in the league for bettors.

I don’t know how long it’s going to last,” said Bill. “I think the interest level is so low, who knows if they have it again, not really paying too much attention.

UFC 274

The buzz surrounding UFC 274 is electric and Jon is feeding off of that. He’s already pegged Chandler vs Ferguson as the MUST watch the fight of the night! “It should be a fight of the night candidate,” said Jon. Despite it being the fight of the night, Jon won’t be interested in betting it due to the odds. “I won’t bet it. I don’t think Ferguson will win but I wouldn’t be surprised. I think Chandler beats him but Tony is a tough customer.”

Despite not giving out a true lean on that fight, Jon had a stern stance on Gaethje vs. Oliveira.“I’m just saying, Justin Gaethje at +150 is a steal,” said Jon. “He’s a knockout artist. He’s also a great wrestler. He’s got unbelievable cardio. He does not run out of gas.” Gaethje owns a 24-3-0 record and goes up against Charles Oliveira who sports a 32-8-0 record. Oliveira is currently billed as the favorite.
