Israel Adesanya | TALE OF THE TAPE | Jared Cannonier |
32 | Age | 38 |
6 ft. 4 in. | Height | 6 ft. |
80 in. | Reach | 77.5 in. |
22-1 | Record | 15-5 |
Still undefeated at middleweight (and with only one professional loss at light heavyweight), Israel Adesanya is the biggest betting favorite on the main card at -440.
Adesanya has defended his title four times – most recently against Robert Whittaker in a rematch of their 2019 bout in which Adesanya won the middleweight strap.
Jared Cannonier, a former heavyweight and light heavyweight competitor, has won back-to-back fights over Kelvin Gastelum and Derek Brunson – the latter of which Cannonier knocked out in the second round this past February.
Cannonier is 5-1 in his last six fights.
The champion will stand four-inches taller and have a 2.5-inch reach advantage over the challenger.

Alexander Volkanovski | TALE OF THE TAPE | Max Holloway |
33 | Age | 30 |
5 ft. 6 in. | Height | 5 ft. 11 in. |
71 in. | Reach | 69 in. |
24-1 | Record | 23-6 |
Featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski has not lost a fight since 2013 and has already beaten Max Holloway twice.
Volkanovski has defended his title three times thus far and most recently defeated the Korean Zombie via fourth-round TKO at UFC 273 this past April.
Since losing back-to-back fights to Volkanovski, Max Holloway has won back-to-back unanimous decision wins over Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodriguez. Both of those fights were deemed the fight of the night.
Holloway stands five-inches taller than Volkanovski but it is the champion who will have the two-inch reach advantage.
The champion will enter the cage as a -205 favorite.
Sean Strickland | TALE OF THE TAPE | Alex Pereira |
31 | Age | 34 |
6 ft. 1 in. | Height | 6 ft. 4 in. |
76 in. | Reach | 79 in. |
25-3 | Record | 5-1 |
With his claim to fame being known as the last man to knock out Israel Adesanya (in kickboxing competition), Alex Pereira has won five MMA bouts in a row and has won back-to-back fights in the UFC.
A win over Sean Strickland could see Pereira in a position to once again face Adesanya.
But Strickland is a significantly more experienced fighter when it comes to mixed martial arts and he is currently riding a six-fight win streak that most recently saw him defeat Jack Hermansson via split-decision this past February.
Pereira will stand three-inches taller and have a three-inch reach advantage.
Despite Strickland’s winning streak and experience, he is considered the +102 underdog heading into this match up.
Pedro Munhoz | TALE OF THE TAPE | Sean O’Malley |
35 | Age | 27 |
5 ft. 6 in. | Height | 5 ft. 11 in. |
65 in. | Reach | 72 in. |
19-7, 1 no-contest | Record | 15-1 |
Riding a three-fight winning streak, Sean O’Malley has finished all three of his last fights via KO or TKO. He most recently defeated Raulian Paiva via first-round TKO at UFC 269 last December.
Pedro Munhoz has gone just 1-4 over his last five fights and has lost back-to-back contests to Jose Also and, most recently, Dominick Cruz.
O’Malley has significant physical advantages over Munhoz including five-inches of height and seven-inches of reach.
At -290, “Sugar” Sean is the second biggest betting favorite on the main card behind Israel Adesanya.
Robbie Lawler | TALE OF THE TAPE | Bryan Barberena |
40 | Age | 33 |
5 ft. 11 in. | Height | 6 ft. |
74 in. | Reach | 72.5 in. |
29-15, 1 no-contest | Record | 17-8 |
With the fight between Miesha Tate and Lauren Murphy rescheduled for a later date, the featured prelim bout between Robbie Lawler and Bryan Barberena will now kick off the main card.
Barberena is riding a two-fight winning streak and most recently defeated Matt Brown via split-decision this past March in what was deemed a fight of the night contest.
Former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler was riding a four-fight losing streak before his last fight, where he welcomed Nick Diaz back to the octagon and defeated him via TKO.
Barberena is the taller fighter between the two but Lawler will have a 1.5-inch reach advantage.
